This is beautiful. I would love to add to it, as there is plenty more to be said about what future generations might have to say about our ingratitude, self absorption, and lack of concern for our fellow man. Not to mention our self-righteous delusions. Bravo, good share.

She lost me on climate change.

Did she have to lose you entirely? If you agreed with some of it, isn’t that a start?

I agreed with a lot of it, but basically it's old news repackaged with a pretty face and a dose of climate change and fourth wave feminist propaganda.

To put it bluntly, anyone who hasn't already figured out that the elites running the world don't give two shits about the general public or any of the issues we are told by media are important, that their main prooccupation is the accumulation of wealth and power, is either not paying attention, is brainwashed or simply lacks basic intelligence to interpret the world they live in.

Surely the point is, however much we bemoan the fact, many people haven’t already figured it out. If it’s a well written speech or a pretty face that could make someone pay attention then why not?

Many people? How about pretty much no one other than a small fringe, dismissed as conspiracy theorists, have "figured it out."? We are way beyond the point where partially waking up a few new people with a well written speech is going to have any effect. It's 1776 baby, and there is only one possible solution. I'll let you guess what that might be.

she makes a few good points, but way too much virtue signaling, and all of her climate chain. Bullshit is completely disastrous. Being an environmentalist has nothing to do with climate change, caring about nature has nothing to do with climate change or the global agenda of Marxism around it.

I found her a bit irritating to be honest. Kids had eating disorders before the internet. Don't you remember the 90s? Bulimia? Many people use the internet in a positive way.

I'm sure it applies to some people. I don't like how she seems to think everyone has these problems with the internet and we are all somehow dysfunctional victims who are unable to use the internet as a useful tool.

Mighty big assumption that there will be historians in the future. I really hate the framing of that perspective; we can see right now what the problems are and MUST act now. We must not be smugly passive in the vain hope someone will survive AND escape the historical context.

Very nice, clever and moving, but she can't consider there might be other opinions- even scientific- about climate change. Most of it was brilliant. Her tears were too much: she's Convinced we're causing mass murder in the future? Well, we Should be careful.

In a nut shell,, Man is sinful beyond measure & capable of thinking, planning & doing unspeakable crimes & atrocities even it's own destruction.

Kind of brings the whole "garden of Eden" thing into perspective, doesn't it? The native people of the America's at least understood that the land did not belong to them. That it must be cared for and passed on to the next generation.

These people are the worst — they pander to the masses while quietly pushing global, agenda-driven scams as if they're normal.

Everything is shitty these days and every reason for everything that is shitty can be boiled down to the one overarching universal law; 'The public gets what the public wants'. And what they want and get usually ends up shitty.

I agree with her we are killing the human habitat we are destroying the diversity of nature in doing so We will eventually go extinct like the rest of the species we have destroyed We are consuming more than we need and wasting resources at an exponential rate.

I'm extremely impressed by the delivery of this young lady who has given much thought to our plight of late and she is correct in match of her speech. We certainly have gone off skew and it is time to bring back some major values and honest debating.
