As a server, were required to check in on you because so many people will finish an entire meal then complain and try to get the whole meal comped 😭

Obnoxious complaints just to complain. Quit whining, they’re doing their job.

This is hilarious b/c it's literally called a 2 minute or 2 bite check back. Part of the "steps of service." I always asked "how is everything?" Tasting sounds weirdly specific to me. Cringe. Feels awkward. Gotta keep it general. Newbies taking it too literally probably.
