Serving our communities is a long-term commitment. Last weekend, we got the call from our community contact in Sandy Creek. Our last project, helping build new raised beds for a neighbor devastated by this summer’s flooding, needed more hands to bring to life. We suited up & hit the... road, working all morning to get these new planters operational so our Sandy Creek neighbor could get their small business restarted. We helped fill in the planters we made at the beginning of the month with layers of rock, dirt, and mulch, cut & installed liners, and moved the new planters into place. Now, our neighbor is ready to get their small business & life closer to normal. Meeting the needs of the working class in our communities is a protracted effort. But ACP TX is always up for the task.show more

ACP TX sticks with our communities and sees the job through. This weekend in Sandy Creek, Leander, we helped a local community organizer and her husband construct seven raised beds for a friend of theirs whose seasoning business had been literally washed away during the devastating 4th of July flooding in Central Texas. With so many families needing all the help they can get as they go through the heartbreaking process of clearing out and even demolishing their own homes, many have had to put their own businesses & revenue streams on hold, including the women you see in the video. Rebuilding had been put on the back burner for the foreseeable future, but our friend Amanda had an idea that she needed our help with. While her friend was attending the funeral of a mother and her two children who had perished in the flood, we worked with Amanda to surprise the community member by constructing and assembling new beds right where they used to be. With the new beds, she and her husband can finally reopen their seasoning business. The joy on her face warmed our hearts and reminded us of what it means to serve the people. When the state hangs you out to dry, the American Communist Party will have your back.

In Toowoomba tonight for our first branch meeting in Groom and the eastern end of Maranoa. The idea of branches is get people from a certain area with similar values together to engage with each other. From that engagement we need to coordinate our activities to deliver our solutions to the community. If we could get the 200,000 plus people that marched last weekend to deliver 50 flyers with our policies we can get our message out to 10 million homes reducing our need on the mainstream media. Our members will also get to preselect our candidates. Preselection is incredibly important as it is the most direct way to hold politicians to account. One of the reasons why politicians no longer listen to the people is that they are selected by the party not elected. That is a key point of difference with People First - we will give members a say about candidates and policy. This is the new cultural norm that we are introducing in our communities, we are taking charge of our country. We are building a clean and safe environment for our communities. We don't have to wait on the government to instill order, in the absence of government, the people shall govern. We plead with all communities to do the same. It is time for South Africans of all races to come together, work together in unity and build our country. Let's learn to put our differences aside and look beyond race. We are now in a new phase of development for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We have done a lot to transition the Ukrainian Air Force to a new aviation standard – Western combat aviation. From the beginning of this war, we have been talking with our partners about the need to close the Ukrainian sky from Russian missiles and aircraft. We have held hundreds of meetings and negotiations to strengthen the capabilities of our aviation, air defense, and Defense Forces. We often heard the word "impossible" in response, but we made possible what was our ambition, our defense need, and now – it is a reality in our sky. F-16s in Ukraine. We ensured this. I am proud of all our guys who are skillfully mastering these aircraft and have already started using them for our country. I thank our team for this result. I thank all the partners who are truly helping with the F-16s, and the first countries that accepted our request for aircraft – Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States, – and all our partners, – we value your support. I wish our Air Force and all our warriors to feel the pride of Ukrainians in our combat aviation and to bring Ukraine the combat results that will bring our victory closer – our just peace for Ukraine.

Energy is growth. But our energy costs are some of the highest in the developed world. We have to cut the cost of power and only the Conservatives have a plan to do so. The British people are being squeezed, and our industries are being held back. This spineless Labour Government refuses to take the tough decisions needed to grow our economy. The Conservatives will scrap the carbon tax, paid for by getting Britain drilling. We will back British industry, level the playing field with foreign imports, and bring jobs and investment back to the UK. This will bring more jobs and growth to the economy, and cut costs for business. We believe in enterprise, in competitiveness, and in putting our national interest first. Only the Conservatives have a plan to get Britain working again: cut spending, cut tax and back business.

Today, during our meeting with Dutch Prime Minister, we focused our discussion on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, including new air defense systems and the missiles for them. We also talked about F-16s for Ukraine and all the necessary weapons for our defense against the Russian occupiers, including shells for our soldiers, essential equipment, and the protection of our energy infrastructure. I am grateful to the Netherlands for announcing a new assistance package for Ukraine. We also discussed the possibility of the Netherlands taking on a patronage role over Zaporizhzhia, which would involve supporting infrastructure, protecting normal life, and addressing humanitarian issues. This is something that will definitely help Ukraine, and we deeply appreciate all the support from the people of the Netherlands, from Prime Minister Schoof personally, and from all the political and public figures in the Netherlands. And of course, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all our people, to everyone who is protecting Ukraine, our Zaporizhzhia, and all our cities and communities — to everyone fighting for Ukraine, working here in our country, and helping us.
