He’s 84 years old and he’s been driving since he was 13. 71 years of operating vehicles and the first second that FSD takes over you have to see his reaction. Two of my children officially got married at the National Mosque, Abuja, this afternoon. It gave me immense pleasure. By the hands of my close associates and friend, General Aliyu Gusau, my daughter Hafsat was given in marriage to her spouse, Umar Farouk Imam. My son Abubakar Atiku Jnr took his bride, Asma'u Abdul'aziz Nyako, through my friend Alhaji Kwairanga Jada. I have no doubt that these marriages will further strengthen the longstanding family ties established with my older brother, Admiral Murtala Nyako, and my friend, Kashim Ibrahim Imam. I am thankful to all guests who graced the occasion and supported to make this day a reality. I congratulate my children and their spouses and wish them a happy marriage. -AA

At the hospital on Thanksgiving. I am thankful for 16 years of memories. This is likely the last full day my husband, Don will be alive. We have made the decision to proceed with comfort related care beginning tomorrow. Some of you know he had a stroke in 2019. It slowly progressed and got worse. It’s been a struggle to juggle my life, happiness, and also be his caregiver. He recently fell in his memory care facility a few days ago and it has quickly progressed from ER to hospital admission to ICU after a code blue. I was told he went without oxygen to his brain for 20 minutes. I don’t know how to process this right now but the best I can do is be with him on Thanksgiving. It was his favorite holiday. He called it “Fat Boy Christmas.” I don’t know if he can hear me but I have told him I will be okay and he can pass peacefully. I will play the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade for him. Perhaps it will bring back some really good happy memories. Please enjoy this video of Don singing. He was an amazing singer and sang until the very end. He never forgot the lyrics to his favorite songs. His brother passed away around the time this video was recorded and it made him realize life was too short. We fast tracked our life together and the rest was history. I moved to Florida to be with him and we had an amazing life together full of love and happy memories I will cherish forever. We have the best jellied eels and the dressed crab is bloody amazing. So come down; have a cheeky pint in the pub “The Thatchers Arms” - enjoy some sea food. It would be great to see you. And i recommend one of my Jack Daniels Bacon and scallop rolls, people drive nearly 100 miles last week just to try them. 🐰 I have a friend, and he’s just a regular office worker. When I look at that, I think it’s really impressive. That friend always says to me, “Ah… Seonghwa, it must be really hard for you.” And I tell him, “The work you do yourself always feels the hardest. Rather than comparing or analyzing, it’s just that what you do feels the hardest. So let’s just be thankful for the days we can meet like this.” As I get older, I have friends from Jinju that I’ve been with for 12 years. No - 11 years. We all went to different schools, but somehow we’ve stayed close until now. Our group chat is called “Animal Crossing”, and up until about three years ago, we met often. Until just three years ago… what was it…? We would at least meet once during the holidays, but in these past three years, there’s always been one or two people who couldn’t make it, or sometimes I couldn’t make it. It’s gotten harder and harder to gather. So now we say, “Well, at least it’s lucky if we can see each other at someone’s wedding.” Because I travel abroad often, I might not be able to go, and since there are friends in Jinju too, when they get married, they’ll live there, right? When I think about that, I realize, “Ah, I might not be able to go.” So it’s a bit sad, but it also means that each of us is settling into our own place in life. Someday… That’s why I like a certain line from a drama: “When we meet again, let’s finish the conversations we couldn’t finish.” I really liked that line. And now each of our lives is different. For me, I now have my members, and for my friends, they’ve probably found someone even closer to them.

Here is footage of the armed police raiding my home late on a Friday night thanks to Zia Yusuf's lies - now Farage's choice to be Home Secretary. Today, we find out it all happened because Farage didn't like my comment on mass deporting foreign rapists. The day he announces Yusuf as his potential Home Secretary to lead the police. If he did it to me, he'll do it to you too. This man is not fit to lead the Home Office. None of them are fit to be in Government.

During Super Junior’s 20th anniversary performance, we looked at each other while singing, and I had to hold back my tears. So this time, I told myself, “No, I can’t look at him. But today, the staff specifically asked us to look at each other. During the final part of the song, I looked at Heechul. I could tell he was feeling it too, and he looked so happy. I found myself thinking, “You’ve worked so hard too.” Then I saw his eyes filling with tears. When I saw that, I thought I would be able to hold myself together… but suddenly my tears just burst out, and my mind went completely blank. Even so, I kept singing until the song ended. After that, while we were getting ready backstage, I kept telling myself, “Don’t look, don’t look.” But then the VCR started playing, and we went back on stage. At first, I thought, “The members are going to tease me.” But then I realized I shouldn’t be thinking about that at all. I started remembering everything we had been through together, all the memories we shared, and all the time we spent preparing our albums. Those emotions kept building up, layer by layer. MANY MAY KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE LAST POST, MANY DON"T. SO I POST THIS. Gentlemen, This is how the Last Post, a military band tune, heard by so many of us was conceived! If any of you have ever been to a military funeral in which The Last Post was played; This brings out a new meaning of it. Here is something everyone should know. Until I read this, I didn't know. We have all heard the haunting song: 'The Last Post.' It's the song that gives us the lump in our throats and usually tears in our eyes. Here is the story behind the song: Reportedly, it all began in 1862 during the American Civil War, when Union Army Captain Robert Ellicombe was with his men near Harrison's Landing in Virginia . The Confederate Army was on the other side of the narrow strip of land. During the night, Captain Ellicombe heard the moans of a soldier who lay severely wounded on the field. Not knowing if it was a Union or Confederate soldier, the Captain decided to risk his life and bring the stricken man back for medical attention. Crawling on his stomach through the gunfire, the Captain reached the stricken soldier and began pulling him toward his encampment. When the Captain finally reached his own lines, he discovered it was actually a Confederate (enemy) soldier, but the soldier was dead. The Captain lit a lantern and suddenly caught his breath and went numb with shock. In the dim light, he saw the face of the soldier.. It was his own son. The boy had been studying music in the South when the war broke out. Without telling his father, the boy enlisted in the Confederate Army. The following morning, heartbroken, the father asked permission of his superiors to give his son a full military burial, despite his enemy status. His request was only partially granted. The Captain had asked if he could have a group of Army band members play a funeral dirge for his son at the funeral. The request was turned down since the soldier was a Confederate(enemy camp). But, out of respect for the father, they did say they could give him only one musician. The Captain chose a bugler. He asked the bugler to play a series of musical notes he had found on a piece of paper in the pocket of the dead youth's uniform. This wish was granted. The haunting melody, we now know as 'The Last Post' used at military funerals was born. The words are: Day is done. Gone the sun.. From the lakes From the hills. From the sky. All is well. Safely rest. God is nigh. Fading light. Dims the sight. And a star. Gems the sky. Gleaming bright. From afar.. Drawing nigh. Falls the night.. Thanks and praise. For our days. Neath the sun Neath the stars. Neath the sky As we go. This we know. God is nigh... I too have felt the chills while listening to 'The Last Post' but never read all the words to the song until now. I didn't even know there was more than one verse. I also never knew the story behind the song and I didn't know if, You had either so I thought I'd pass it along. Today Hossam Shabat would have been 24 years old. My tribute to him: Today Hossam Shabat would have been 24 years old. When I spoke to him before, I told him, “Hossam, they want to assassinate you. You’re on a hit list. It’s enough, you’ve done more than enough. Just please, stay alive.” He replied, “I will keep reporting. This is our duty, and this is the promise we made, one we will fulfill. And if I am martyred, you and others will be our voice.” He added, “My only wish, if I’m martyred, is that my body remains intact... that I don’t become just mere unrecognizable remains.” I once told him, “When the genocide ends, I’ll come visit you.” He replied, “Visit me where? I’m living on the streets and in tents. They destroyed my home, and I have nowhere to go.” So I said, “Then I’ll come and stay with you on the streets or in the tents.” He always spoke about wanting to get married once the genocide ends and starting a tamily of his own, living his life to the fullest as any normal human would. I remember texting telling him “I’m happy you were finally reunited with your family” he replied “May god make you always happy”, I asked “Is there anything that you need?” He replied with “I miss you” I replied “I miss you too, take care of yourself” and that was the final message because next day Israel killed him.
