If you’re having horrible entire pc freezes and hardlocks this might help, (beforehand make a list of any keybind changes you’ve made) turn off steam cloud for Helldivers, find the arrowhead appdata folder and wipe everything inside of it. Relaunch the game and see how it fares now. If you don’t get anymore freezes you can turn back on steam cloud for it. From what I’ve seen even if you validate the files it will persist without doing this, as the steam cloud is actually backing up corrupted files.

This really needs a patch. Audio and graphics glitch in caves. Flying dragon thing disappears and still kills you. Then sometimes there are 5 of them for no reason. It's a cool update but needs a lot of fixes.
