If you are a Plus or Team user, you will see a notification in the app when you have access to Advanced Voice.

Advanced Voice is rolling out to all Plus and Team users in the ChatGPT app over the course of the week. While you’ve been patiently waiting, we’ve added Custom Instructions, Memory, five new voices, and improved accents. It can also say “Sorry I’m late” in over 50 languages.

We’ve also improved conversational speed, smoothness, and accents in select foreign languages.

Advanced Voice is not yet available in the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.

I find it ironic that half of the video about OpenAI Advanced Voice is spent typing, because settings page doesn't support voice

@OpenAI @OpenAIDevs Sometimes advanced voice will detect an interruption when there really isn't one (eg just background noise or the backchanneling), and sometime it fails to recover from these false positive interruptions what improvements are being done to reduce the issues

So these are a different set of custom instructions specific to voice? No carryover?

Advance mode is complete garbage. It can’t get a full sentence out without thinking someone else is talking. the instructions you give it to adapt are completely ignored. This is going back backwards guys.

Why it doesn't have captions??
