The Christian kvetching over this clip is pathetic. Here is the full context. In the interview Spielberg is not calling for the abolition or subversion of Christianity or the Church. The film literally includes a cardinal, a nun quoting scripture, and believers wrestling with what alien life would mean for their faith. Spielberg's conclusion is not that Christianity is false, but that god would still have dominion over alien life just as he does over humanity. This is directly out of mainstream Catholic theology. His point is the opposite of what people are claiming. He is suggesting that the creator god shared by Jews and Christians rules the entire universe, and that aliens or other unexplained phenomena would ultimately fall under that god's authority and reinforce it. That is the psyop, not "Christianity is being destroyed/subverted." Jews are not trying to destroy Christianity. Enough of this insecurity and persecution complex. Even by arguing this it shows that you have no idea what is going on.

A video of a past interview has surfaced on social media in which the new Prefect of the Vatican's Dicastery for Communication—Monserrat Alvarado, recently appointed by Pope Leo—implies that it is not necessary for Jews to convert to Christianity. In 2004 John MacArthur was on Larry King Live with Dennis Prager. The topic was: “Who Was Jesus.” And the subject comes up about “who killed Jesus.” John MacArthur addresses the fact that no true Christian is going to be an antisemite. Jmac says: “no true Christian transformed on the inside by faith in Jesus Christ is going to be an antisemite. What you have is people who called themselves Christians, but who have not been transformed by the power of Christ. They’re the ones that would be antisemitic. If you’re a Christian you’ll be converted from your racism.”

Trent Horn says that the phrase “trusting in Christ” is a modern invention and that he’s only heard needGod.net use the phrase. “Trust” has been used interchangeably with “believe” & “faith” since the beginning. Greek lexicons plainly state that word commonly used all throughout the NT for “believe” means “to trust.” This term is used over 200 times in the NT when describing our faith in Christ. Not to mention the church fathers who also used the phrase. ⬇️ “I, however, call on all who trust in Christ…” Basil the great This is a very common phrasing that God’s people have used from the beginning to describe their faith in God. We also see “trust” used in the Old Testament in this manner, too. The question: “I would like to know how in the world someone in the Southern Baptist Convention can support the defending of rights for Muslims to construct mosques in the united states when these people threaten our very way of existence as Christians and Americans. Huckabee, seemingly speaking for all Christians, says "we" look at this as an obligation to serve Jews. Huckabee misrepresents Genesis 12, which depicts a promise from God to Abraham: He will make a nation from him, and those who bless Abraham will be blessed. The modern dispensationalist error contradicts the writings of the early Church, including Paul’s epistles to the Galatians, which state that Christians are those who have received the Promise through Faith in Christ. Paul makes this claim in his writings to the Romans as well, declaring that it is not the adherence to Jewish law that makes one a recipient to Abraham's promise, but Faith in God, which has been revealed, in the New Testament, as Faith in Christ. One can say “Christ is King” and the Lord may say, “I never knew you.” Christ did not come to establish political reign here on earth. He chastised the followers who asked it from Him, saying, “My Kingdom is not of this world.” It is not the Christian project to idolize social or political power, demanding special respect or position from others *because* “Christ is King.” In fact, this is the opposite. We are called to be salt and light, remembering that the Faith we possess is a gift given to us by God, one we do not deserve. We are called to love, to serve, to share the Faith in word and deed, and to pick up our cross and follow Him, until we can enter His Eternal Kingdom.

Why are supposed right wing influencers slowly trying to nudge Christians to Islam by using the bait of “well in Islam they believe that Jesus Christ is the messiah.” So what. In Islam, Jesus Christ is also portrayed as the antichrist. Islam teaches Dajjal the anti-Christ: • He will claim to be divine • He will call himself a messiah • He will perform supernatural works • He will promise paradise but lead to hell • He will claim he can raise the dead • He will present himself as having the “kingdom” Islam says: THIS person is the deceiver.
