South Park set the standard for funny cartoons. To this day they are still revered. Family guy is also pretty funny, but they ain’t even close

The rivalry is stupid because it’s one-sided. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are just being comedy snobs about what they think is funny versus what Seth MacFarlane thinks is funny. One show was a little more straightforward with their comedy in the other is sometimes straightforward and sometimes a little random. I enjoy both shows for different reasons but what I don’t like is how Matt and Trey think they are the authority on what is funny and what isn’t because plenty of people don’t like their show because they think their comedy is just as stupid lol.

They think Seth is a hack. They are correct.

As weird as it sounds, this feud has always made Matt and Trey seem kinda elitist.

South Park might be my favorite cartoon comedy. I think it’s a loser move to take shots at Seth. Family Guy is a cartoon comedy, there’s no need to have to “tell a story the proper way”. They’re both funny in their own right, and they both miss a ton too with both being on air for multiple decades. South Park also take plenty of low hanging fruit jokes, just because they don’t do cutaways doesn’t make it any better or worse. Again it’s a comedy cartoon, neither of them should be taken seriously
