Setswana is very complex. It just depends on the context, the tone, condition and the climate the word is being used. Ke kopa tshwarelo ( that's a shallow apology). Ke kopa o intshwarele (apology is being emphasized). Usually used on extreme cases/situations.

It's ntsHwarele, not ntswarele. most people leave the H when writing our SA black languages and without it, meaning is lost or you may find refering to something else when you meant the other e.g Thaba (mountain) without H, Taba, will mean news. take note of spelling each time.

Thought about this earlier today.. how we like to create depth when “translating” our langue’s to English. Very often we don’t translate.. we interpret. We create meanings that aren’t there in the moment it is used. This is no different to an English person breaking up words …
