An #Academymen venture into #suitbondage. It seems this might have proceeded further had the founder of Academymen not died prematurely. The young #shirtandtie guy is arrested & #handcuffed, his threats of reprisals ignored by the cops. As they manhandle him down the stairs his feet go from under him, & the cops have to hold him up between them, to prevent his falling, as his tieblade swings from side to side. At the bottom of the stairs he's booked, with a side order of humiliation.

Neep the Sheep has been experimenting with escape plans. These have included pretending to be tangled in a glamping tent. (I rushed in, he miraculously unhooked himself and headed for the gate at a gallop, but was foiled at the last minute) He has also tried hiding (badly) behind the BBQ. The theory, I think, is that I will go looking for him and accidentally leave the gate open. Other times he stands by the gate staring mournfully at passers by. Trying to communicate that he's half starved, on his last legs, and in urgent need of custard creams So far we have been one step ahead. But even though Neep has a teaspoon brain he's learnt our routines. He even knows when Jim the postie passes by, as you can hear his Neepy bleats of desperate adoration. I have a feeling his next attempt might involve some kind of unhinged plan cooked up between him and Thrusty Clappernuts. Stayed tuned...

I don't think Lewis Hall signs a new deal with Newcastle United if Eddie Howe had remained. There was clearly something not quite right between the two, and that can be explained by his weird absence and playing at right-back at the end of the season. Jaissle has made it clear that he's one of his key players, and he's been brilliant so far this season in all facets of the game. He always deserved to be one of the highest earners at the club, and at 22, it's scary to think just how good he could be with his best years on Tyneside. #NUFC
