Genshin Impact truly was a game ahead of its time. It benefited from this artstyle a lot, because it doesn't even need to try to be realistic. The anime aesthetic made the game's graphics future-proof, and they executed it extremely well too.

At least Hoyo never disrespected the consumer/viewer with shitty animations (my personal beef with the last season) all in all they are very similar but thats because monstadt and whatever kingdom that is are kinda your typical fantasy places with taverns and a big gateway
