The Delhi Sathya Niketan tragedy must be viewed in the context of the failure to provide basic infrastructure—safe buildings, clean drinking water and functional toilets—primarily a responsibility of the Delhi Government. Congress + AAP governed Delhi for nearly 25 years (1998–2025) and had ample opportunity to address these basic issues. BJP government in Delhi has completed just 1 year and 10 months. Instead of politically assigning blame based on assumptions, people ask why 25 years of Congress + AAP governments failed to create adequate infrastructure and enforce building safety norms. Why did they ignore the accommodation constraints while universities continued admitting students? If accountability is the issue, the 25-year governance record of Congress and AAP in Delhi cannot simply be brushed aside for political convenience. @BJP4India

Which govt Was there in India when building was made? Must be congress only

Extremely sad ! In any other govt a large number of ministers and department heads would have been sacked now. But a gobarmint donot owe any responsibility to any loss of lives, as at the end of the day they are the safest and extra special people sponsored by public taxes.

Congress and AAP which ruled the state past several years with whose period the building licenses were originally issued and built the structures with widespread violations unnoticed.
