Seven Psychopaths is a personal favorite & an example of ensemble casting done to absolute perfection. I’m not exaggerating when I say every single actor who shows up in this film, including my guy Harry Dean Stanton, is excellent. Martin McDonagh just doesn’t miss ever.

No Country for Old Men is on my Saturday night rewatch list. There’s no reason whatsoever that’s triggering me to rewatch this film other than I miss the Coen Brothers. I miss their intelligence as filmmakers- they are always two- nay, three- steps ahead of us as an audience. Every last actor in this film is excellent. It’s just a film that’s been on my mind.

Galaxy Quest is flawless. A totally perfect comedy. This film is at the top of the list whenever I need something to make me laugh- the satire is killer. Not to mention the casting is unbelievable- every last actor in this film is hilarious, especially Alan Rickman. I love this.

I’m actually so f*cking furious right now. Abdul El-Sayed was caught saying “I hate Mackinac Island”, which is one of Michigan’s greatest destinations. Who does this guy think he is? As a Michigander, I’m appalled to see my neighbors voting this guy in. How does someone who hates the state he’s running in even have a CHANCE? From now until the midterms I will make sure this guy is exposed for every single thing he has ever said or done. I will make sure this scumbag doesn’t win. I want him out of my state. I miss watching Severance. I’m not totally positive the status of the show’s third season, but the first two were television excellence. It’s another example of Apple TV getting it right, in addition to shows like Slow Horses & Shrinking. The casting in this show is perfect.
