I’m speaking as a wife who prayed for her husband for 19 1/2 years to be set free from porn. He was a believer and he struggled with it every day. What Paul says is true and heartbreaking. Only the love of Jesus has gotten me through this. My husband is home with Jesus. 🙏❤️🙏

Amen. Had a pastor once describe sex as being like fire. When it is protected within the RIGHT PLACE, a fireplace, it brings life and warmth and security to a home… put that fire anywhere else and it will burn your life to the ground.

The Bible always warns of the condition of your heart (the emotional mind). Sexual sins, like a mind virus, will come in and infect the thoughts so as to affect all aspects of your life. Same with anger, greed, hate, etc. That is why Paul tells the reader to resist the devil and he will flee because the devils battlefield is your mind. We are taught to be careful what we let into our eye and ear gates because ignorance of vulgar language, sex scenes, drug use, violence… leave the enemy with little to work with in your mind. Careful of your inner dialogue, God created the world with words- and we are made in His image- so there is power in words, even the ones you say to yourself in your own head and it’s your thoughts that invite God or whatever other than God (your choice).

I struggle nearly everyday. Been clean from it for over 3 months. I pray the Lord keeps giving me protection from the temptations.

That's why Luther was so awful. Most his sins were sexual he wanted to have sex so he broke his oaths to God to get some Disgusting There are no protestant monks or nuns because their is no prot spiritual life
