Was that 8 chevrons? Pack an extra bag folks, we’re going for a ride! #SaveStargate

#SaveStargate

Now we just need Walter telling us which Chevron we're on.

Looking forward to seeing that again. Real Stargate! #SaveStargate

I always loved the scenes where we got the full seven chevrons being engaged/locked. The sounds was pure satisfying. There was just something about hearing those sounds, because of the anticipation. Especially during the times that chevron eight and nine came into play.

Cat! 😁😸

I need to see that again 😍 Guess I'm rewatching when Michael Shanks does the podcast watch party! #SaveStargate

Save Stargate.

Every time I see the gate spin, I think of episode 200 with the General Hammond puppet demanding they make the gate spin.

I always wondered how difficult was it to get the camera at certain angles on the gate. So much stuff is around it. It must have been a pain to move things in and out.

Honestly, this is the best. It’s the Stargate nerd coming out in me but there’s nothing like watching the gate dialing up an address. Awe-inspiring 🤩🤩🤩 #SaveStargate

I am 3-D printing this Cryptex thing for my daughter to hide as a geocache, and I can’t help but think of the Stargate ring

I love the SG-1 gate! The whole analogue feel of it is amazing! I tried to replicate the Stargate in OBS-Studio a couple of years ago but didn’t do sadly enough snything with it. Maybe I should remake it again!

Awesome

It's like getting a boner

~You’ll get there.

Here's mine that I recorded in Gmod and dubbed the audio for clarity. Please enjoy.

😊❤️

I will literally contribute weekly to 3D print a 1:1 scale, full electronics and lighting, Stargate replica. recommend ABS. If anyone might come across the actual prop dimensions blueprints from the 90's movie or TV show that happens to arrive in my DMs.

We need Chevron 7 to lock with Amazon right now

We need the hear the dialling sequence in a new series. #savestargate

Iconic. Especially since this is all done by a physical prop. #SaveStargate

3d printed a 3 foot version a while ago. So satisfying

A sound I will never forget. Long dialing sequences were the best.

Chevron 7: also lit up

Hands down the best props and sound design ever. I would have loved to see the behind-the-scenes of how the gate actually worked—to see the motor and also learn how the sound design was created! #SaveStargate

I never understood why they didn't just snag a dialing devise someplace.

I've always wondered if there were more 9 chevron addresses that could go to other specific destinations rather than just the Destiny and what those destinations could look like.

That sound, as iconic as the Tardis. #SaveStargate

Oh the things I wish were real and that I wish I could go through and explore in real life
