Classy response; makes me like him more. Takes responsibility for not playing his best and doesn't throw his guys under the bus; that's leadership. He's right; when I think about it, there were times as a young performer when I didn't live up to my expectations, when I froze up, not because I wasn't trying hard, but because I was caught up in what others thought of me. Growth takes time; maybe Chet deserves some grace and the space to evolve into the payer he can be.
