@_buildspace @_nightsweekends Actually yes! The effects are written in GLSL and can be easily used in other contexts like web or iOS.

@_buildspace @_nightsweekends It's a custom theme created with Hueflake by @kdrag0n. Still the best theme personalization tool out there tbh.

For those of you who were asking what I meant by shaders in my last post here is a closer look. It's a cool plugin for shader effects on Roblox that I made with Namefvl #Roblox #RobloxDev #vfx #gamedev #shaders

Paper Shaders: now fully open source and FREE Yes, you can make a: plugin, tool, template, site, app, library. Resell it. Make a Figma plugin. It's already code. Go for it! We're pushing shaders forward. New Paper Shaders on the way.

I'm not certain how I came across this tool, but it has proven to be extremely helpful for creating some texture effects while I work on stylized shaders. Below is a quick preview of the most useful effects. #3d #texture #tips #tools

I've been working on this KMP task tracking app that runs on Android, iOS, and Desktop, thanks to the power of Compose Multiplatform. It's a WIP, planning to add Web support. Check it out on GitHub: Playstore: #KMP #AndroidDev

Announcing Native Mobile App support on Replit. Now you can build iOS and Android apps that you can take all the way to the App Store without writing any code, powered by Replit Assistant. This is early access—full Agent support coming soon!

🚨 JUST IN: Claude got a huge update today and I'm flattered to be a part of it. As of now, Claude Opus 4.6 can build mobile apps and prepare shipping them on the Apple + Google app stores. We just launched Shipper a new package that empowers Claude to: → Build complete mobile apps → Recreate existing apps → Assure iOS & Android compatibility → Autofill listings for both app stores (app icon, images, descriptions, keywords, privacy policy etc) Claude Opus 4.6 can do all of the above in one prompt for ~$0.17/app... Publishable from the first prompt & built in 5 mins, not months. You can try it on Shipper by asking Claude to "create an AI chatbot like Perplexity" or "eBay style marketplace app for local goods". To celebrate this huge step forward, if you comment "SHIP" you will get free credits.

I can finally announce the project I've been working on with Joce ! Fondant is building a new app that brings avatars and vtubing to Web. Multiplayer lobbies for vtuber streamer collabs or just hangouts with friends, as well as character customization tools building up to a full creator. We are using a WebGL and WebGPU techstack, so part of the point is to provide a cross-platform alternative to the current Unity based app ecosystem, and also to build tools that people can use to create or modify characters without going through a DCC (Blender, Maya, etc). For now we're starting with the basics: multiplayer lobbies, VRM support, and some tools like merging accessories into existing VRMs in the quoted post, and transferring Custom Vertex Normals from proxy meshes. My role is stylized shaders and procedural character creation. I've been working on NPR Shaders and tools to help build and customize 3D anime characters in Blender for years. With WebGPU, we can bring it into Web. My hope is to build a full character customization system for the Web with next gen toon shaders, and also a matching set of tools in Blender for serious content creators. But it is early days still, and there's a lot to be done! Here's the latest WIP of the rig for fitting proxy meshes to new faces.

I am having a lot of fun with this ThreeJS game. Will probably be spending more time on this cosy flyer game for #vibejam And btw, shaders are awesome! I highly recommend anyone building a 3D game to add some shaders to make your game look good. Here's a quick primer on the different types of shaders you can tell your AI to level up your game's graphics: - Noise-based shader for water refractions or shimmer - Fresnel shader for a nice rim lighting effect on your 3D game objects - Post-processing shader to change your game's color scheme dynamically - Post-processing shaders like the VHS effect that @levelsio use for the Drone flyer game - Shader effect to make the trees sway or objects wobble - and many more uses Shaders are incredibly versatile and useful. I would recommend you to go YT to check out some shader basics videos and come up with more creative uses for them!

What If Your Weekend Project Could Balance on Two Wheels? The ES02 is an open-source bipedal wheeled robot built around an ESP32 by Navbot. It combines two-wheel balancing with leg movement, making it a fun platform for experimenting with robot control, simulation, motion planning and embedded programming. If you are getting into robotics, this is the kind of project that can teach you a lot by actually building and tuning it. Would you build one for your next weekend project?

The evolution is here. The age of verifiable apps has begun. Introducing EigenCloud, a platform for verifiable apps, services, and AI, built on EigenLayer, secured by the EIGEN token. ☁️ Crypto has spent a decade building trustless infrastructure. Now it's time to build on it.

"A Democratic Party that is chummy with billionaires but then tying to argue that it's in the interest of unions, it doesn't pass the smell test for a lot for working people." Maurice Moe Mitchell 🐺 on how cozying up to the wealthy has cost Democrats the working class.

I love working with React etc (and teaching it, obviously). Because React & co are amazing libraries that allow us to build amazing websites & web apps. BUT! There is a but... The majority of all websites are actually NOT powered by React etc.
