No need to explore. In a world that constantly attacks our Blackness, we’ve got to stand firm in it—unapologetically. America has built systems to divide and diminish us. So it should never be a surprise when Black people create ways to protect, insulate, and pour love into each other. On the Native Land Pod with Angela Rye, Andrew Gillum, and @tiffanydcross—who asked a bold question about the shadow war some in the podcast world stoke between Black men and women—we went straight into it. No dodging. No dancing. We even unpacked the conversation many avoided during the election: Vice President Kamala Harris being married to a white man. Terrence Woodbury brought the numbers, breaking down HIT Strategies’ 2024 election data, and we dug into the deep tensions around identity, relationships, and what unity really looks like in our community. From how we love to how we vote—the future of Black America depends on us choosing each other. On purpose. This is a conversation worth continuing.
