@Paul_Koshy This is not EVM. The main component is Control Unit which has three to four seals. This is VVPAT unit. This gives the slips of votes. It carries a battery. As per procedure, the battery has to be removed after polling and submission. There is no wrong in it.

It’s vvpet machine where the slips during the poll use to stored..battery has to be removed for sure before the sealing process ..but the battery compartment and slips compartment are separate ..if the slips compartment is intact then no issues ..control unit is main
