Whilst I'm in the @WorkersPartyGB , I do believe that we must have elections and the only reason to stop them is war time. The Tories extended the delay in Suffolk, even though they had been organised on the restructure of the county prior to Labour cancelling them. As a candidate, (hopefully for the party), local democracy is important for me but in a cynical conclusion that is democracy truly represented if people are elected with being voted in. Uncontested seats and low voter turnouts, must be debated for the future if those in parliament are happy to send people to war over democracy in other countries, but we reject it in the UK for whatever reason applies. I wish you all the best for the Christmas festivities and New Year, regardless of our political beliefs it's important that we embrace debates between us all and find a better place in our society.
