🐝 Jurjen Van der Velde speaks about brining 'Wasp Spray' on to the Ally Pally stage back at the PDC World Darts Championship last month. "Every year the wasp is coming back so I bought the spray on the afternoon of my game, it was a brilliant move I think!" "At the first break they (The PDC) came directly to me and said I couldn't do that anymore because people on stage could be allergic to it. I didn't get a fine for it, it was just a joke!" #Darts

Dublin 🇮🇪 Gone are the days of the pretty, freckled, red-haired cailíní 🇮🇪 Now we have reams of Muslim migrants queuing on the streets to get into a mosque. We didn’t ask for this, we don’t want this. Something has to give before the Irish in Ireland are completely eradicated.

🗣️ Chris Dobey REVEALS he thinks Britain should not have left the European Union and that Brexit has affected the Euro Tour experience. "Jonny Clayton loves a whinge doesn't he? But it is frustrating because you want to come here and be prepared well but it's just how things go. "I think we shouldn't have left the EU I think that's the big problem. It's the same for most of the British lads, it's not nice because it was over two and a half hours we had to wait just for the passports. "It was the same in Poland a few weeks back so fingers crossed something can change and we can enjoy these European Tours." #Darts

Mark Moss puts 80% odds on $58K being the bottom "I believe the bottom is in. I would say probably with about 80% probability. I think the bottom was in at the level that we got to, at the $58K level." "Could we get back and retest into the mid 60s? We certainly could. I think maybe we could retest at the 200 week moving average kind of thing, and I'm not a technical analyst." "But I would say the low, back at whatever it was, at 58, I think that was the low. I don't see us dropping back below that." "I was certainly on the bandwagon, Scott, that the four year cycle was dead. Some people are still hanging on to that. I don't see how you technically could." "What's happened is it's sort of turned into this self fulfilling prophecy where people want to front run it. And now they're front running getting back in, and it's happening a month early."

Scottie Scheffler is a member of the PGA Tour’s Player Advisory Council. He was asked today if there’s any issues he feels strongly about, and after originally saying he “doesn’t know”, he then spoke at depth about the importance of player pathways. Speaking ahead of his defence of the Memorial Tournament, Scottie said: “I don't know. Yeah, no, I don't know. Nothing too strong. “I think one thing that we talked about in terms of the new schedule was a healthy amount of turnover, and one thing that I'm actually pretty passionate about is avenues of getting onto the Tour. I felt like when I came out, that was something that wasn't an issue for me, but it was more difficult than I thought it would be. So when I turned pro -- when I was planning on turning pro after graduating college, PGA Tour U wasn't a thing. “I tried to sign up for PGA Tour Canada Q-School and there was only one qualifier that I could do due to my college schedule, finishing out the year, and that qualifier had already filled up because they give priority to the people that had already had status before, which I understand. But there wasn't an avenue for me to even qualify for PGA Tour Canada, so I spent the summer playing Monday qualifiers on the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour and playing mini Tour events so I could stay sharp and get ready for Q-School. “So when PGA Tour U started being discussed, that was something I was pretty passionate about, getting a new young group of guys out there and giving them avenues to get into our system and opportunities to get onto the PGA Tour. Because the guys coming out of college are getting better and better from a young age, and I think in a lot of other sports, it's very simple how you get into the professional ranks, is you get drafted, and in golf, there's not really that avenue, and I felt like that was something that we needed to have on the Tour is the right avenues for guys to be able to got out here. I feel like where we're at on PGA Tour U, giving those guys the opportunities is something that I think is important to me.” He went on to emphasise his feelings: “I think just giving guys opportunities is really what it is. Golf is a hard sport to predict, and I think that's why for a long time there wasn't that system, just because a guy could be a great college player, but it's really hard to figure out who is going to be the best player out here. “So I think giving guys a lot of opportunity across the board is important, and that's not giving out a ton of cards on the PGA Tour, but getting guys into our system where when you know if you play well at a PGA Tour sanctioned event, whether it's PGA Tour Canada or Latin America -- or I think it's called PGA Tour Americas now. But giving guys those starts and those opportunities to where they can prove themself and earn their spot on the Tour. “There was an avenue for me, which was Q-School and a year on the Korn Ferry Tour, but I think it's important to get guys immediately into the system when they get out of college, especially when they have had good college careers.” PGA TOUR the Memorial

Asked Kristaps Porzingis how he would characterize these past two seasons: “It's been unbelievable, honestly. Purely look from my own perspective, it's been up and down — tough moments, even last year. But then the big objective that we're going for, we achieved it. And nothing sweeter than that, right?” “To try to do it again this year was a big challenge. And myself also coming back from injury again into the season that had the surgery, it's not the easiest thing to do, and just some some bumps on the road all the time, but at the end, what it does is just fortifies your mind. And I always take it that way. And this, again, was a tough challenge for me, personally.”

#WATCH | Delhi: Ambassador of Ireland to India, Kevin Kelly, says, "It's our plan to use our Presidency to promote Irish culture. We are a small country; you could fit our population into a suburb of Delhi, so it's very important for us as a small country to get noticed in this massive country, India. We do it through culture; we do it through showcasing our music, our theatre, our literature, and that's something that we very much share with India... We will have a full program of activity that will be trying to raise awareness and remind people about not just Irish-India links and relationships, but also the fact that Ireland is a strong and committed member of the European Union, and the European Union and India together can be a force for good."
