Maybe this monk wouldn't have a family.

Buddhist monk Shi Heng Yi

The truth is he’s right, I suffer mostly because of thinking too much into the past and future. I feel stable when in present

If it was that easy...

What monks understand that most people don't: you were never supposed to control your mind. You were supposed to observe it. The moment you try to force your thoughts to stop, you create resistance. And resistance amplifies everything. Neuroscience confirms this. When you stop fighting your thoughts and simply watch them, your amygdala calms down within 90 seconds. The thought loses its grip. Mental clarity isn't the absence of noise. It's learning to stop arguing with it.

I don't do this It's only when I have all my memories, is when all the answers flow out of me.

Don't misguide... There's no meed to control mind. Just observe the mind.. that's it.. Mind can't be controlled. Through focus one can control the mind till the focus lasts.. after the focus ends, mind jumps as it does..

Easy to say these things when you're sitting inside a monastery with nothing much to do. In the real, busy world - not so much.
