Shaping your children for the future

This guy wants to be his kids friend not their Dad. If your daughter is acting like a brat you shit it down immediately. This guy is exactly what is wrong with our society today.

And we wonder why our kids are growing up the way that they are. You don’t need to be mean to hold them accountable to their actions, and you don’t have to explain everything to them otherwise they’re always gonna need an answer for everything. This is not the right way.

First you correct the wrong response, then u fix the deeper issue. Fixing the deeper issue w/o correcting the wrong response reinforces the wrong response. She'll grow up thinking that everytime she acts out, the issue is gonna get fixed. Tough luck with that.

I love how all the people that say “that’s how I was raised” seem to have turned out okay… so for the Hell of it they’re going to go in a different direction. And we wonder why kids are not adjusting well today.
