Shaq would remember how dominant Tim Duncan was in 2003 because he stopped the Lakers from winning their 4th STRIGHT championship. People think Tim Duncan had all this help in 2003, but in reality, he lead the Spurs to the BEST record in the NBA with guys who were...

Tim was literally 2 blocks shy of the 5th Quadruple Double in league history (and the 3rd such occurrence in Spurs history alone) in the clinching game of the Finals that year. Let THAT sink in.

Shaq 100% correct. TMac acting like Spurs had HoF versions of TP and Manu on that.l team. DRob on his last legs. Gtfo, that 03 Timmy was the system. He was worth 20-25 wins alone. In an ultra tough Western Conference. Diesel is talking facts.

Like Ginobili and Parker aren't HOFer if Duncan isn't around. Duncan should be in the GOAT discussion just for the fact he didn't need super teams to win championship and he beat Shaq Kobe & Lebron multiple times

Huge L for JxmyHighroller Tim Duncan is the only player who gets discredited because he played with 'great players' like Parker and Ginobili, and they didn't even make the top 75 player list, while other great players like MJ, Lebron, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, and Kobe all played with the top 50 players of all time. Also, let's not forget that in 2003, Tim Duncan stopped prime Shaq and prime Kobe from 4-peating. Tim Duncan's supporting cast included sophomore Tony Parker, rookie Manu, 37-year-old David Robinson, who averaged 8 points and 7 rebounds, and a bunch of old role players. The Spurs didn't become this ultra-prestigious franchise until Tim Duncan walked through the door. Here are a few quotes from players who played against Tim Duncan: "I dont want to hear no top 5 without Tim Duncan." - DeMarcus Cousins “The Spurs won because of Tim Duncan, a guy I could never break. I could talk trash to Patrick Ewing, get in David Robinson’s face, get a rise out of Alonzo Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored. Whenever I run into a Tim Duncan fan who will claim Tim Duncan is the GOAT, I won’t disagree with him.” - Shaq "Tim Duncan WAS the system." - Shaq again "I remember one time Kevin Garnett was mushing him and shoving him in the face; and Tim Duncan didn't do anything, he didn't react. He just kicked Kevin Garnett's a--, and won the damn championship. You know what I'm sayin'? That's gangsta. Everybody can show emotion, dunk on somebody, scream, and be real cocky; but Tim Duncan is a ... he's a pimp." - Metta World Peace “Tim Duncan is one of the goats.. I know people love the Kobe era, but Tim Duncan had a lot to say in that era.” - Norris Cole
