🇮🇪 #Ireland: Police (Gardaí) clash with protesters in Citywest Dublin, who’ve gathered on the streets after news of a failed asylum applicant allegedly sexually assaulting a missing 10-year-old girl. This happened on the grounds of the Citywest Hotel, which currently operates as an IPAS centre (a government-run facility that provides temporary accommodation and support services for asylum seekers while their applications are processed). Some of the protesters are on horseback (as are the police). At least one riot van has been set on fire. (via Anthony.exe on IG)

As per the new policy of the BCCI players are not allowed to keep their wives or girlfriends in the team hotel or bio-bubble during small tournament. If they want to stay with them, they have to make separate arrangements in another hotel at their own expense. They cannot bring them inside the team hotel or restricted bubble area. But here, Hardik Pandya is being seen moving around the team hotel with his girlfriend. Is BCCI not properly enforcing its own rules, or is there some special permission in this case?

This is the scene at the CJP protest site this morning, where even the stray dogs have stopped showing up Using the rain as an excuse, they have completely covered Sonam Wangchuk's stage with a yellow tarpaulin. They are now covering the right side as well Soon, no one will be able to see what's happening on the stage. If Sonam Wangchuk ends up eating pakoras and samosas in this weather, how will anyone know? If it's really a hunger strike, then remove the yellow tarpaulin. Otherwise, Sonam Wangchuk can do whatever he wants, and how will the public know?
