Prosecutors say the pair also committed multiple other crimes during the spree. While handcuffed and seated before the judge, Ayala and Keys were recorded grinning, laughing, and making obscene gestures at Probst’s grieving family members. Video footage of the attack showed the suspects filming themselves as they targeted Probst and other victims—highlighting calculated intent and a lack of remorse. On October 14, Keys pleaded guilty to second‑degree murder with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon. Under the plea deal, he faces 18 years to life in prison and several other charges will be dropped. Ayala previously entered an Alford plea to one count of second‑degree murder with a deadly weapon and additional charges of battery and robbery. He also faces up to 18 years to life under the terms of his deal.

This kink of decision used to be common place for such crimes. Whey is there even a question about being tried as adults. THEY KILLED SOMEONE and thought it was funny.

These kids are unfit to live in a civilized society. They deserve life sentences. It’s a shame that taxpayers even have to pay to warehouse this evil. CECOT prison in El Salvador would be the perfect place for them.
