Sharks on shore with paddleboarder- Bridgehampton NY Featured here is drone footage taken of a paddleboarder among multiple sharks in a school of menhaden baitfish on shore. These are most like spinner sharks averaging 4-5ft in length feeding on a bait ball of what locals call “bunker”. I watched... as this school traveled right in front of the Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club, 8/12/25 approximately 10:45am. This was approximately 125ft from the shore and according to the lifeguards at the nearby Mecox Beach this was a lifeguard for the club in Bridgehampton, NY on the paddleboard.
