“this is my human” Cats bringing their owners "gifts" is a common behavior, rooted in their instincts. It can be a way of sharing their hunting success, marking territory, displaying maternal instincts, seeking attention, or relieving stress.

If only we realized how blessed we are...🥹

I love cats 😊

The unconditional love of a pet is incalculable

It seems that when the cat brings things back to its master, it is because it believes that the master is incapable of feeding itself since it does not hunt, so the cat wants to feed the master.

Police in Portswood, in southern England, have finally identified the culprit in a series of thefts of underwear hanging to dry in gardens. The thief turned out to be a kleptomaniac cat with a particular fondness for women's knickers. Oscar, a 13-year-old cat, had been bringing home stolen goods, apparently as gifts for his new owners, Peter and Birgitt. First Oscar would bring home socks, gardening gloves, and then the cat would start bringing home underwear, apparently belonging to young women. Eventually Peter and Birgitt, who had taken Oscar from an animal shelter, turned themselves in to the police, convinced that many Portswood residents must have complained about the mysterious thief. The cat was making an average of 10 "break-ins" a day, bringing back the loot as gifts.
