120 years ago AB and SK were brought into Confederation. We have been asking for fair representation in the affairs of Canada for over a century. When is enough, enough? Why does Quebec with 8.5 million people have 3 seats on the SCC while western Canada with 12 million only gets 2 seats? Why does Quebec with 8.5 million people have 24 senators when Alberta and BC with almost 10 million people only get 12? Why does New Brunswick with 800,000 people get 10 Senator and Saskatchewan with 1.2 million people only get 6? Why do the Atlantic provinces, NS. NB. NL. PEI., with 2.5 million people get 24 Senators and Alberta with 5 million people get 6? Why do the Atlantic provinces, NS. NB. NL. PEI., with 2.5 million people get 32 seats in the HoC and Alberta with 5 million people only get 37? Time for the west to rise from the shackles of Confederation.

Canada is a socialist shit hole. If Alberta can save themselves, they should.

🟥 The pathetic-ness knows no bounds. 😆 Even with an obvious plant in the audience with a pre-arranged question, you still gave a perfectly horrendous answer. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Dude.... Canada is lost. It's 51st State or bust. We've just lost. It is what it is.

I’m sorry, but the rest of the country voted for Carney, so no. It sounds nice, but we will continue to be taxed without representation.

Ontario and Quebec will never allow other provinces to have an equal voice. There is no fixing Canada. Separation is the only way. This is no longer about frustration. This is about recognizing there is no way out of this disaster besides becoming independent.

It’s not the liberals that are the problem, it’s the Canadians who elect them. We need to go our own way. They can have the country they want, without dragging us down with them. Alberta Independence!

People here in Alberta want the right to self determination and to decide their own future, it's time you let them.

Stop peddling false hope. The Liberals gerrymandered your Ontario riding, ensuring the CPC’s defeat following what was possibly the stupidest camping in Canadian history (elbows up). You’re clinging to a fading dream and a paycheck, but the CPC will never form the government again. Your leadership will be done following a review and as for Albertans, it’s time to abandon this sinking ship before it’s too late. #Independence

Just temporary fixes that ONLY address some of our economic woes. If you cannot PERMANENTLY fix confederation with permanent equal representation in the House & Senate, property & bodily autonomy rights, immigration control, it's just kicking the can down the road for our kids.

A handpicked question I see. Trudeau went open mic in an Alberta town hall full of oil workers...twice

I guess it will eventually come down to …do Albertans trust that Confederation has the mechanism or framework ability to change and address many of the listed concerns…??? 🤷‍♂️ I am old enough and experience enough to say I do not …many of us have had enough and believe the time to act is now..!!!

Hey, Pierre, if Canada separates you and other politicians lose your political power, it doesn't work for YOU, so you are pushing the fantasy that Canada can be fixed. Maybe if you had won the last election, there was a small chance... Canada is BROKEN beyond repair!😮All our levels of Govt are deeply infiltrated and bought off by WEF, and work in conjunction with the Federal Liberals, cuz many WEF programs, like 15 min cities, (meant to enslave and monitor us) need to be implemented at lower Govt level. ALL our Govt institutions are completely under the CONTROL of Liberal Govt. That includes a lot of private corporations also. And etc. etc... Canada's ONLY hope is Independence, 51st State before Carney turns this country into WEF Authoritarian Hell. And Carney is doing that with some speed. It is getting Very BAD Very Quickly...😱😱 WEXIT NOW!!

I hope you win for the sake of Canada but you will never be able to fix the problems that Canada has because of the balance of power being in Ontario and Quebec. It’s how it’s been set up, they won’t give any of that up

Oh please. 🙄 You talk about the Quebec lawyer? One word: Bombardier. And Harper?....Agenda 2030. You still support the Paris Climate Accords, the UN, and the WHO. All you Cons ever do is slow the roll until the Libtards regroup. We are done with the rollercoaster. We want off, forever. #AlbertaIndependence

The question asked should be, “What is ONE valid reason that Alberta should want to stay in Canada?” This question has been asked again and again. As yet nobody has been able to provide a valid answer. Time for #AlbertaIndependence Time for @ABProsperityPrj

This answers exactly ZERO of my concerns about Alberta’s place in Canada. If even the conservatives won’t fix Canada, there is no reasonable argument against Alberta Independence.

Everything you say you will do here will take YEARS. 4 years is not enough time implement Pierre's plan. This is not practical, and it will take too much time. Albertans needs solutions NOW!!! Not in 5-10 years. I like Maxime Bernier's answer much better. Notice how PP doesn't touch equalization payments in his little throne speech here. That would keep Alberta in Canada, so why doesn't Pierre offer that?
