she can’t do ANYTHING right… perform an unknown track with less than 9M TOTAL streams and barely gaining 6k daily in front of multiple nations is embarrassing… u have a tied record with MICHAEL JACKSON AND UR PERFORMING THIS?? a song from an album that fully buried ur career... bc you got the man that SA’d ur friend to be the main producer of the project. overall it’s not a good song either, in the disappointment that is 143 there’s a could of other songs that are better. i would rather you perform a hitb you’re known for like roar or fireworks, not this bs. she’s also not even on key to the original song, the little kid can hold a note better than she can, and it’s so disappointing for someone who owns one of the biggest albums of the 2010s… .KATY PERRY REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!!!show more

AOC: The concentration has gotten to such an extreme degree that you can literally name the billionaire who owns the outlet. Bezos owns The Washington Post. You have these deals with the Ellisons… You have CBS that has been taken over by a charlatan… We’re not just talking about the 24/7 channels — we’re talking about some of the most historic journalistic institutions like CBS, not to even speak of the decimation in local journalism. The gutting of local journalism is the seed for a lot of this. On top of that, people have been dealing with the pain of family members or friends that are on the other side of the political aisle. And there’s also, I think, a personal and emotional pain sometimes of feeling like you, as the person right in front of your loved one, are not listened to or thought of — and your input is not as important as this mainstream/Fox News — like a TV channel. Yes, there are political differences there, but people feel, “How am I less important than the TV?”

This woman shows up a little later than everyone to the graduation ceremony. Rather that stand out of the way or take a seat way in the back she decodes she is going to stand at the rail in front of everyone and she is not sorry about it. The police were even called and they are not doing anything about it. Why do people think they are better than other people? Why do some act like they have zero respect for others? Would you ever do this? Ever? Do you think the police should have hauled her away?

Yves names ‘DIORAMA’ as the song that best represents her as an artist “So I work on a lot of my own music with IOAH, a producer I collaborate with often. We both have a favorite song, and that song is ‘DIORAMA’. I would choose ‘DIORAMA’ to introduce someone to who Yves is because it shows a lot of range. The song starts in a lower register and goes all the way up to a very high note, and it also has a lot of heavy beats that are fun to move along to. The choreography is another reason I would choose it. I was heavily involved in creating it and helped co-choreograph the song, so it carries a lot of my own personal touch. Because of that, there are many personal elements in ‘DIORAMA’, and I think it’s a good example of who Yves is as an artist”

“If You Murder Hostages, You’re Not the Good Guys” It’s a shame we have to say this out loud. If you murder hostages, you’re not the good guys. If you let hostages “Celebrate” Hanukkah for propaganda purposes and then shoot them in the back of the head, you’re the baddies. If you’re a doctor and you inject air into a hostage to murder her—like what happened to Noa Marciano—you are evil. These aren’t complicated matters. They’re straightforward. So straightforward that anybody who says anything to the contrary can likewise be put in the evil baddies camp. This is a clash of cultures. One culture who believes in the preservation of life, and another culture who basks in the erasure of life. No amount of propaganda can change that. So take note of how everyone reacted to these two stories this week. There’s no ambiguity. You’re either on the side of good, or the side of the evil. Shabbat shalom

SONG OF THE SPIRIT TODAY I have taught severally that when you wake up in the morning with a song, you should SING IT ! For as long as you can until you sense a release in your spirit or to a point of saturation. That prophetic song becomes an instrument in the realm of the spirit - For ministering to God (As the song of the Lord), a song of deliverance and just for edification and encouragement to you. And also as a message of some sort from God. I have had countless experiences and encounters with spiritual songs, so much I can write a book by God’s grace. If you have not been taking this seriously, you should. Job said “10 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;” Job 35:10. I woke up with this song today and asked the media team to help fish it out. We sang this during the hallelujah challenge. Though not an original. I heard it first sung by a South African Lebo Sekgobela. And it’s a powerful declaration. I don’t know why the Lord revealed it to me from my dream today. But I thought to share with you after sharing with church. Use it as a rod today! And see THE LION RAOR ! “8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:8

#MarkTuan shared that he sometimes goes through phases where he revisits #GOT7 songs and wishes they could perform some tracks they never got to do live. one example is Mayday, which he thinks would’ve been cool on stage 🐰 there are times where i'll go through a GOT7 phase where i'll go back and replay some of the songs, and there's a part of me like, "ah, damn. i wish we can perform these songs, too." cause i feel like there's so many songs that we never got to perform on stage that i feel like would be fun or the fans would enjoy 👤 is there one that you wish you could perform? 🐰 right now, there's one song that, i went back and i was like, there's a song called Mayday from GOT7, that i don't think we ever really got to do a performance to, which i thought could have been cool 👤 why that song? 🐰 that song, i actually, i think when we were deciding on the title track for the album, i thought that could be a cool title track, but it never, it just became like, what do you call it? it's like a b-track? 👤 yeah, like a b-side 🐰 b-side, yeah

LILY's LILOMON Balance Game 🐬 Discovering a song with a really good melody but you don't like the lyrics VS A song with beautiful lyrics but you don't like the melody 🐨 This one is really easy for me. Even if I don't like the lyrics, if the song itself is good, there are quite a few songs I still listen to. If I don't like the music, the musical elements, the melody, or the instrumental, I don't even listen to it in the first place. Honestly, I think there have been a lot of times where a song becomes even better because the lyrics are just so, so good. Since we're on the topic, let me recommend a few songs where I think the lyrics are really amazing. There's a song by Noah Kahan called 'Willing and Able'. The lyrics to that song are really sad. But the melody and the instrumental are also really good. I recommend that one! Also, one of Taylor Swift sunbaenim's songs. There's a song called 'The Prophecy'. The lyrics for that one really resonated with me. It's a song I truly love and adore.

Algorithms and the Affections John Piper (Nov. 2025): “If you had thought that your essence of humanness in the image of God was your reasoning capacity, over an ape or a porpoise, you’re in trouble. Because, guess what? ChatGPT is smarter than you are and more creative than you are in expressing things in language that is good. It can write prayers better than you can, and it can reason through hard problems better than you can. Therefore, there are people who are going to forsake the faith because they thought to be a human in the image of God was to be a reasoning person over against the animals, and they discovered a machine can do it better than they can. Crisis of faith. This to me is no crisis because of my Christian Hedonism. I do not think that my reasoning capacities are my essence. I think the soul’s capacity to delight in God is my essence. The soul’s capacity to enjoy God. No machine will ever enjoy, period. It will have the language of enjoyment. You can tell it to write a poem of enjoyment and it will use the language. That machine is not enjoying *her*. It’s not. It never will. Only human beings created in the image of God can enjoy God. Therefore, enjoyment matters. I mean, affections are who we are ultimately. The end of history, the end of creation, is not going to be merely rational creatures thinking rightly about God, little computers. It’s going to be people who are so perceptive spiritually of the glories of God that they are full of affections that are appropriate for those glories and can give expression to them. That’s what eternity will be.” Source: Sovereign Grace Churches, Pastors Conference PreCon (November 2025)

Dredd on shooting with Sky Brie as a new talent: he says she’s got “it” in her DNA and that “sky’s the limit” for her: “Definitely, what was your experience shooting with my client Sky Brie? She was great brand-new talent in the game.” “Brand-new talent in the game, obviously. But from a looks-wise she’s got that covered. My question going into it, not only with her but any girl in a situation like that because of their newness is can they do it right?” “And so I had that question with her and I was hoping she could… and she delivered, bro.” “You got a good one with her, man.” “Thank you. I’m very proud for sure. She’s got it down. It’s like either you have it or you don’t. You could be taught to a degree, but it’s either in the DNA or it isn’t. And she’s got it.” “The looking into the camera when she’s sucking d*ck… that look where if you’re a viewer you’re looking at it and those eyes are like, ‘Damn, it’s fucking you up.’ She’s got all that covered. Sky’s the limit for her, man. Ironically.”

So EJAE, the original singer & composer of GOLDEN said that the song is not for a singer, its for an animation bcs the highnotes are unrealistically HIGH. She said the song is so difficult to perform & if she knew she was going to sing it, she wouldn’t have made it this difficult

Amanda Seyfried is so good in The Testament of Ann Lee. Not only should she have been nominated for best actress and original song but she should have got to perform one of these songs live with this choreography at the Oscars.

.Naval: “The reality is that opportunities have never been more equal than now. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have the same iPhone you do. They don’t have some better version of an iPhone. They’re eating food that might be marginally better than yours, but it’s basically the same. You might even have a better diet than them. You probably have more time to go to the gym than them. They’re not immortal, and they’re not going to be—most likely, not at this time scale. So you have more youth than them. You have a lot of advantages over them. The wealth gaps are actually much smaller than people think. A lot of that is due to mass production, which comes from specialization, labor, and capitalism. But it’s very easy to overlook that and agitate—because that gets you higher in the status hierarchy with other monkeys. It makes you look like you’re fighting for noble causes and gives you status, which is really what people are craving these days. They’re craving status, not money or wealth. And status is a zero-sum game. So it’s kind of an evil game to play because there have to be losers for every winner. And the only way to win is by crushing somebody else down.”

I can tell almost instantly when I meet a young man or woman, whether he or she is a deep thinker. They may not be at the top of their class, but that doesn’t necessarily make them less intelligent than the kid who scored 1500 on his SAT or the guy with an IQ of 134. They may be more intelligent. Much more intelligent, but the methods we have for quantifying that intelligence do not adequately capture the breadth and depth of brilliant minds that exist in the world. So they go unrecognized while the kids who excel on answer-based examinations get the best grades, attend the best schools, earn the best degrees, and, more often than not, go on to have mediocre lives. Why? There is one thing that the most brilliant and accomplished people I have ever met all share in common, and it isn’t pedigree or IQ. It’s curiosity. And not just any curiosity—it’s the inexhaustible kind. It’s the kind that will never be satisfied. In my experience, this is the sort of curiosity that breeds humility and most often coincides with a questions-based mindset. And it’s this type of mindset, not the answers-based mindset our educational system selects for, that is the actual prerequisite for brilliance. I’ve seen this kind of brilliance in physical therapists, plumbers, and pretty much any profession you can imagine that we don’t typically associate with brilliance. But we do associate it with excellence. And that’s because to become excellent at something, you have to become your own teacher. This means going from learning how to give the right answers to learning how to ask the right questions. And that requires curiosity and an almost psychotic commitment to excellence. So, while the person in this video is correct that less intelligent people than he are far more successful than he has been, the more interesting and less remarked upon insight is that people like him are not as brilliant as the system tells us they are.

'Scratch My Back' was released on this day in 2010, with a cover of David Bowie's 'Heroes' as the opening track. 'Songwriting is what drew me into music. The craft and the process of putting together a good song seemed both exciting and magical. I have also wanted to record some of my favourite songs for a long time. Rather than make a traditional covers record, I thought it would be much more fun to create a new type of project in which artists communicated with each other and swapped a song for a song, i.e. you do one of mine and I’ll do one of yours, hence the title - Scratch My Back - and I’ll scratch yours.' Heroes, the opening track of the album, performed here at the Arena di Verona, September 2010.

Christmas can be a wonderful time of year but it can also be incredibly tough for people. For so many reasons it can actually be the toughest. There is happiness everywhere and an abundance of excess to be had everywhere you look. I know it’s a time when i always struggled when I was drinking and battling other addictions and demons. It can seem like you are alone. That the whole world is against you. How can everybody be so happy yet here you are feeling so worthless, down or panic ridden. I just wanted to say that you are not alone and millions of others have the same issues. The most remarkable thing I ever got for Christmas was a phone call just before I went into ICU. It was a simple humble an unexpected call from someone checking in. It’s why I think it’s important to remember that it’s not designer handbags, PlayStations or iPads that make this time of year. It could be a simple detour to see someone. A 10 minute chat with an old friend that means the world to them. Swallowing your pride to say sorry to someone. It’s the little things. The checking in to let someone know they are not alone. As for me I’m sad and missing Derek and Jumbo is very ill beside me as I write this but I’m also optimistic. I’ve lots of dogs to look after, I’m forcing myself to be social and have not 1 but 2 Christmas meals with friends and I love the life I have. I’m lucky and humble about that now because it wasn’t always that way. Maybe one person who needs to see this will. It’s just a time of year. If you are having it tough you are not alone. If you are doing well yourself have a little check in with somebody you know probably needs it 🙏🥰

If you are doing well yourself have a little check in with somebody you know probably needs it 🙏🥰

this is so sweet 👤 when i listen to seventeen’s music, i know that there’s almost no songs about breaking up or that kind of vibe. even if it’s a song about love, it’s like “i’m cheering on for your love” or “i’m cheering on for your youth” and if there’s a subject to the love, it’s “you’re really pretty” or “what can i do to adore you even more?” there are many of your songs expressed in this way and that kind of direction is so cool and admirable. i hope that you continue to be artists who can shine a beautiful light on many people and let us hear those kinds of songs often 🍑 thank you. i’m so touched seriously
