Something I really admire about Taeyeon is how genuine she is as a person, not just as an idol. She never feels like someone who's constantly trying to maintain a perfect image. If she's happy, she'll show it. If she's upset, frustrated, or disappointed, she doesn't pretend otherwise. She's never been afraid to show those emotions, even in front of fans.
