I was taught to recite the Fatima Prayer after every Glory Be: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Ohhh u forgot where hail Mary in repeated constantly. Last time we checked with Jesus.and God THE Father, Isaiah 8:19-20: "Should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?". Mary is dead, she was a human and praying to her or consulting her or asking her to pray for you via the hail Mary's in the rosary etc is idol worship!!!only consult Jesus. HE is the only way!!!mariology is idol worship. Just saying what alot of Catholics dont want to hear

Why do you need an intercessor when you can just pray directly to Christ?

Except Jesus resurrected and renewed his body to immortality and then ascended. The rest have not. All authority is given to him.

Repetition is OK. Do not pray to Mary. Only God. Only Jesus. Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

We do pray to Mary on the rosary but what is that prayer? "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen." We keep praising Jesus as God and ask her to pray for us sinners. Oh my God! What an abomination!! How do we survive this?!

Also, it is optional to include the Fatima Prayer between decades: "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy."

This is wild cherry picking. Mary is certainly dead. 1 Thessalonians refers to "the dead in Christ". Her body is dead. Her soul and spirit are with Him awaiting resurrection. And even if you call her alive, is she omnipresent? How does she hear millions of prayers? Idolatry

Nice video! Finished my daily rosary about an hour ago, way later than usual. I usually pray in the morning first thing. Peter in the below meme acting like a protestant.

The hail marys are vain repetitions because she cannot hear you nor has any authority to help you.

Nice try. My God is a jealous God and I will pray to Him in Jesus' name. The devotion and praying to Mary, and "saints" is a Catholic construct and not biblical teaching.

Revelation 22:8-9 don’t pray to Angels or spirits… the entire OT taught necromancy and veneration of the dead was a sin, This is paganism.

She tried. Praying TO saints & Mary, who was a virgin at the time of Jesus’ birth, had other children. Ohhh snap. Yes. Fact. Mary is not deity. She’s not. Stop praying to her & drawings/paintings on candles. Pray to only Our father-in-heaven, in the name of Jesus.

I have the same problem tbh. I still can’t get over the fact that it’s supposed to be a meditation on the life of Jesus but Mary is mentioned like 50 times.

This was good but I have a problem with the Luminous mysteries. Beyond what is stated in this article, the number of Hail Marys in the Rosary (given by the Blessed Mother) was the exact amount as the Psalms of David. Also, the number also represents the exact number of times the Blessed Mother appeared to the three children in Fatima. Adding the Luminous mysteries completely changes this.

I truly believe that the Holy Rosary is a weapon against all eViL. Mother Mary will always intercede for all who fly to her aid and never abandon. As a child, I used to sing with Angels. I sang with the entire Celestial Choir. Jesus allowed me to experience this.

@Nero The bible teaches that the only one we should be praying to is God/Jesus. It is implied all throughout scripture. There is but one God and one mediator between God and men, Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5

You do not have to be Catholic to pray a rosary Please pray at least 1 rosary a day & meditate on the life of Jesus & the Gospel & present your petitions It is one of our most powerful weapons we have as Christians in this spiritual war we are in against the devil

Completely ignoring the amount of times Mary is mentioned compared to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Also, do the saints just spend their time in Heaven receiving prayers from believers and then recite them to God? Can we not also approach the throne of Grace, through Christ?

Theology is not the foundation of Christianity, God is. You focus on Him, listen to Him and the more you grow, the more these are incorporated in how you pray or speak with Him.

Jesus modeled prayer for us. He prayed to the Father, not to Elijah or David to I terced for him. When he died on the Cross, the veil was torn, giving us access to the Holy of Holies. Praise God the Father for His ways are better than our ways!

She did a terrible job. Human spirits are not omnipresent. When they petition the saints they close their eyes and talk the same way they do with prayer, it’s demonic and it’s praying to familiar spirits. It’s no different from African ancestral worship. Demonic

The Hail Mary itself is also Scriptural. "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you", comes from Gabriel's greeting in Luke 1:28. "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb" is Elizabeth’s greeting of Mary in Luke 1:42. Any faithful Christian agrees that it is profitable to read Scripture more than once. As Catholics, we simply incorporate Scripture into our prayer, especially the Mass. This is what the video mentions, these prayers are not babbling or in vain because the words are scripture.
