This young woman was off on a run, she’s taking the route she normally does for a long time now. On the way see runs with her little brother and even sees her sister out running as well. As the sun sets she’s on her final stretch of her run and she’s approaching where she started out again. She sees two men on the sidewalk and right as she is about to run past them they try to grab her and take her, one of the men lunge at her as to almost tackle her and stop her in her tracks. Even after running for miles she musters up the strength in her to run away as fast as she can. It’s safe to say this is why people use treadmills but if this was you would this discourage you from running outside again, what would you do?

This lady’s mum went into hospital seven weeks ago with a suspected fracture. She was mobile, independent, had all her wits about her and was on no medications. Since being admitted into hospital, she’s lost FIVE STONE in weight, is on several types of morphine along with other drugs (including blood pressure meds and statins) the family specifically asked the hospital staff NOT to give her, she can’t walk, is incontinent, permanently drowsy and an absolute shadow of her former self. The doctor has told the family that it’s up to the patient to say if she wants to come off the drugs but the daughter believes her mum is being coerced/bullied into taking them. “These places are not safe,” she says. She’s right.

Re- watching this season and I feel Y’all calling Aniya insecure are projecting. That woman is secure as hell. She knows exactly who she is, what she’s worth, and what she deserves. She carries herself like someone who knows she’s not settling for less. Setting boundaries on her body and refusing to keep people around who disrespected or humiliated you isn’t insecurity. It’s self-respect. She knows her value, and she’s not accepting anything beneath it. #LoveIslandUSA

This woman is having full-on “glitch in the matrix” moments this morning and she’s genuinely confused. She found an extra earring that perfectly matches a set she’s had for years… and then found a duplicate house key on the floor that she swears she never bought (all her spare keys are different). She’s asking for explanations because she has no idea where these things came from. Friends! It’s been a tricky few days with Ron and Percy being off colour. Cleo, on the other hand, seems to be as strong as an ox! Nothing seems to stop her. Even when she’s having a nap (and she doesn’t have many) she’s not very still. Always sucking on her leg! It’s a bit distracting when Baby Dog and I are trying to nap too!

She’s so right here. So right. People do not want a return to how things used to be. They want something better. I just wish she could condense what she said here in a minute and 30 seconds into 20 seconds or 30 seconds or 40 seconds, so people don’t tune out. She is so thoughtful and so deliberative in everything she says that she loses people in trying to make her point. I think this is why so many accuse her of this “word salad” nonsense. It’s not because she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, it’s because her prosecutor mind weighs the weight of every single word as she’s delivering a point. I don’t know how she retrains herself, but in this ecosystem she has to be able to just deliver the line, the thought, in a way that is concise. Like it or not, people have no attention span anymore.
