Kristen Doute is a once in a generation performance artist. I don’t think just because *she* doesn’t realize this about herself necessarily invalidates it. Vanderpump Rules is really just her canvas. She’s the Michelangelo of reality tv. The deeper you go the more you realize not just anyone can do it. She has a signature shrug/smirk she introduces in the first five minutes! Incredible

Every time Whoopi Goldberg opens her mouth about racism, hate, and “division,” I flash right back to that 1993 Friars Club roast. There she was, glowing, laughing, loving every second, while the man she was dating, Ted Danson, strutted on stage in blackface, cracking jokes at her event. She didn’t storm out. She didn’t scream “racism!” She was beaming. Happy as hell. Yet today, we’re supposed to believe she’s outraged by the very things she once laughed through and defended. Because that’s what I can’t reconcile. She’s a paid performer. A Hollywood lifer who has spent decades in the spotlight, and to me, the contrast between then and now raises a lot of questions. She’ll condemn behavior today that she appeared willing to overlook when it involved someone close to her. Hands down. That’s why I have a hard time taking the outrage seriously. in the wise words of taylor swift, “a man is allowed to react, a woman can only overreact.” they cut the camera to her while she was still in shock & she took a sip of her drink. that is not even a reaction. this whole situation has blown out of proportion throughout the media. you’d think things would’ve gotten better for women in the past five years since she said this, but that’s not the case. this has made one thing abundantly clear, women are not allowed to react when they are blatantly disrespected. even if they don’t react, they’re still overreacting, since there is this perpetuating stereotype that women are “dramatic & emotional.” she’s just sitting there trying to enjoy her night that she was attending because of HER accomplishments & the records she broke with her movie about her life-changing, record-smashing tour. yet, she was only mentioned once, only ten minutes in, to be devalued to her relationship & to poke fun at the ways the media has been tormenting her for years. you can not tell me that is funny. she’s been through hell throughout her career, she’s heard these jokes a million times—she’s over it. she shouldn’t have to laugh at a joke that offended her to appease anyone. personally, i’m extremely proud of her for not feeling it was necessary to be a people pleaser & laugh, which is what she typically would’ve done int the past. that shows growth, that shows that she finally recognizes her worth. she finally realized that she doesn’t have to put up being painfully disrespected. she’s allowed to think a rude joke isn’t funny, it just made her uncomfortable. if she looks uncomfortable, it means he crossed the line, regardless of if you think it was funny or not. it’s evident that this was an under reaction. she kept her composure & responded to the situation perfectly. however, even though she responded perfectly, she’s still getting tremendous amounts of hate for this. this makes it abundantly clear that men in this society will always have it out for women who are successful—especially when that success was created all on their own, since women are not allowed to be successful in their eyes. that is blatant misogyny, just like the joke they think she is a horrible person for not laughing at. of course they think the joke was funny, they’re a bunch of misogynists themselves.

🚨She’s not a reporter in that clip. She’s the product. Trump called her a low-rated CNN “reporter” pushing fiction. She answered with the same two faces CNN has sold for a decade: the tight little smirk, then the hand-over-the-face bit like the insult personally wounded her. That’s the act. That’s the brand. Kaitlan Collins didn’t get that chair because she broke stories. She got it because she can sit across from a Republican and treat every answer like a crime scene. The questions come pre-loaded. The face does the editorial. When the president hits back in plain English, she performs injury and the network calls it journalism. CNN is dying in the ratings and still putting her on as if the country hasn’t already rendered the verdict. Coffee thoughts - I’m not sure Candace is coming back. “I want to thank Baron for telling me it was time to do this”. “Thank you to everyone that’s been on this journey it’s been a heavy one.” “Today went a lot different than I thought it was going to be” Just for the record the court filing I posted last night was to get more time to respond and to go from 25 pages to 35 pages on why the court case with Harpole should be dismissed for “Failure to state a claim”. She’s trying to get it dismissed before it goes to discovery. Put the paperwork in AI it will give you the specifics. We all knew it was coming. The money it takes to fight these suits is insane. She’d be stupid to not try to get it dismissed. And Tennessee has more laws protecting public figures so it would be easier to get dismissed than in Delaware (that doesn’t) with the Macrons. I still think more happened yesterday. And the way she was acting just gives me this maybe it for a bit. Maybe I’m wrong but I knew yesterday something was up. Her video seemed more directed at making her last claims on everyone than continuing the attack. There was nothing there for an emergency video. She’s heavily pregnant, she’s run out of material, she’s being sued and the cases are coming up, she has 4 kids about to be 5 and you can only attack people so long with the same accusations. Yk what I love the most about Charlotte? We all know she has a panic disorder right?
