Firstly, I hope it changes to a happy ending. Secondly, the poster itself, the overall atmosphere, and the background all look like a battle between good and evil. What supernatural powers and incarnations of evil could they potentially play in Tolkien's The Silmarillion?

the vibe is grand, yeah, but it’s not really a silmarillion setup. nobody here is morgoth. he’s not an incarnation of evil and she’s not a pure light to slay him. they’re married people on opposite sides of a state. the “battle” is love vs duty inside one house.

Do you think they will change the ending? It was very sad for me to read the novel.. Every character was crying for FL in the end .

im conflicted about that too bc even tho we know how tragic it was, thats what made me admire her so much. she loved him enough to give him her ordinary days, her body, her hope of a quiet life. but she did not, rightfully, love him enough to become someone else. what she did was to keep the integrity of herself and her whole family. changing that would just make her smaller 💔

Sad enough , in ancient times having both power and love is rare..
