I think we need to ensure equal protection. Men should have to be informed and agree to have the child before they are legally required to pay for 18 years. I don’t think they should be able to force her to carry it, but they should be able to incentivize her to do so and allow her to let the father raise the child.

A man has no say in this and can never have a say - unless he carries a baby himself. None. He can ask his partner or ex-partner to carry the baby for him, but in that case, it becomes consent to surrogacy if the woman has already decided she does not want to be a mother. Consent is the key word. To clarify, I am pro-life but not pro-enslavement of women, who would be treated as nothing more than incubators if the law allowed fathers to make decisions over the body that carries the child. There is a limit to everything. No child* that can survive outside the womb should be aborted unless there are serious risks to the mother’s life or the baby is severely disabled in the womb. *Rape victims should be treated as such. It's a terrible dilemma but they should be given a choice no matter what. The decision whether to keep a baby or abort should not be pushed onto a victim to answer within few hrs or less. She should have full support because this, as you can imagine, is scaring a person twice, sadly, regardless of what choice she'd make. Better solutions exist: enforce the death penalty for rapists, enforce 50/50 childcare (not just child support) between non-violent parents, and strip any parent of all rights to their children after the first act of violence against the mother (if rape, rapists must not have any rights by default) or kids. Promote adoption as a judgment-free alternative - advertise it like a milk campaign so everyone knows it’s a real option. Provide genuine support for young mothers: proper maternity leave of up to two years, fully funded daycare, and comprehensive post-delivery care. And men should be taught in schools how to be fathers and how to support a new mother. Fix this, everything will get only better.

I already agree. I don't think this is the strongest argument, but it's not terrible. The issue is the defense becomes "it's not about the abortion it's about the drugging of the woman with abortion drugs." It's strong but not logic-to-legal strong enough.
