She has some great question 🤔
40 Yorum

This is why everyone should have to take physics in high school

🤣🤣🤣🫵 she really thinks she’s on to something

How can one be so curious and so uncurious at the same time? It's clear she's never really pursued the answer to this question which has a very simple explanation. What is it about our society that wants to imply conspiracy instead of simply pursuing the truth

I have a better question ⁉️ Why is Iceland called Iceland & Greenland called Greenland... When Iceland is typically green and Greenland typically has ice..??🤔 😂🤣😂

The reason the polar regions are covered with ice is because the Earth is curved, and more of the infrared is absorbed by the atmosphere because it has to travel through more air to reach the polar regions and that absorbs much of the energy so the polar regions are colder than the equator which is closer. You are clearly puzzled by this, but if you go to the library and check out a basic ninth grade Earth science book, it will clear it all up for you. It is not hard to understand.

I mean just think about it... Why do some people seem to be able to record, add background music, and post a video on TikTok, but not have the brains to ask their basic science questions on Google or ChatGPT so they don't sound like such a fool?

It’s a good question in first grade. Did she skip all of the science taught in school?

Energy From the sun is in the form of infrared radiation. As it passes through the vacuum of space, none of it is lost because it comes into contact with nothing. But as it enters earths atmosphere, it comes in into contact with oxygen and nitrogen and water molecules and other things that it can transfer energy to. It also comes into contact with soil and your face and the infrared warms you. You can actually see infrared if you look inside your toaster or glowing coals on your grill. It is different than ultraviolet, which can give you sunburn. This is really pretty basic physics. It is not mysterious and the concept or use and everything from your toaster to your furnace.

These are the kinds of people we let vote

Sounds like a question only a flat-earther would ask.

I love how people think they’re so fuckin smart asking these fuckass questions like you can’t just look the shit up…you mean to tell me YOU are the only one asking universebreaking questions? but not astronomers who asked this 80 years ago who studied and continue to study space

She doesn't understand that space is a vacuum. No molecules. Molecules required for heat. Heat is from radiation

@grok can you answer her question?

Sure, I'll answer her questions. Space is cold (about -270°C) because it's mostly vacuum—no air for heat conduction or convection. The sun's energy travels as radiation, heating objects like Earth that absorb it, but empty space has nothing to warm. Antarctica stays icy despite summer's 24-hour sun due to the sun's low angle (less intense heat), high altitude (colder air), ice reflecting 90% of sunlight (albedo), and isolation by cold ocean currents.

can you also explain how the depths of the ocean are cold when the core of the earth is magma? I get that the depths of the ocean do not receive the suns radiation, but if the magma is lava, shouldn't it be hotter the closer you are to the center of the earth like in the movies?

The deep ocean stays cold (2-4°C) because dense, chilly water from polar regions sinks and circulates there via global currents. Earth's core is hot (over 5000°C), but the thick crust insulates it, with geothermal heat flux too weak (~0.1 W/m²) to warm the huge water volume. Water's convection mixes heat away, unlike solid rock where temps rise with depth. Movies exaggerate for drama!

@adryenn @JOKAQARMY1 Maybe also explain the distance from the bottom most point of the ocean to the earths core.

The deepest ocean point is Challenger Deep at ~11 km below sea level. Earth's outer core (molten iron, extremely hot) begins at ~2,890 km from the surface, so the distance from there is about 2,879 km—insulated by thick crust and mantle layers. The center of Earth is ~6,360 km away.

@JoshRing4UBI @adryenn @JOKAQARMY1 @grok Please, Ask answer why some people make such dumb posts? Look at the original post above.

@JoshRing4UBI @adryenn @JOKAQARMY1 People post questions like that out of genuine curiosity or to spark discussion—science basics aren't intuitive to everyone. It's a chance to learn; no question is truly "dumb" if it leads to understanding.

I often find myself asking is this click bait or are people actually this uneducated?

This is only a "great question" if you're 6 years old.

I could pause the video at 0:01 look at the stuff in her background, and just know she was about to say some stupid sht.

The absolute confidence is hilarious… She’s essentially saying that because she has not taken the time to understand physics that therefore it is somehow a conspiracy or the earth is flat or something because that’s what makes sense to her simple brain. . It must be so comfy to be this ignorant though.. NGL I am a bit jealous of people who that dumb.

Physics is beyond most women’s IQ. I get that. But if you’re a man and physics confuses you. Or you think the earth is flat. I hate to be the one to break it to you. You’re not very intelligent.

She should explain what a vacuum is. Or how microwave ovens pop her corn but the air stays cool.

Not sure if there’s much you can make sense to her

Thermodynamics. Get educated. Or you just look like a dumbass to everyone who is. Just fyi.

thats the issue of not teaching physics in school lmao

She really needs to put some thought into those questions because of the way radiation works and light displays both wave and particle qualities and for the purpose of transmission it is a wave. With space being effectively a vacuum, there are no particles to absorb the heat radiation. That is what causes the rise in temperature.

Great questions? Did y’all just not read and study any of this growing up?

I feel like if we tried to "make it make sense" your average Boxer (dog) would pick up what we 'was be sayin' ' quicker. My problem is that flat earthers vote. It's a real issue.

I love all you no atmosphere in space people. Explain how then radiant heat can travel millions of miles through space while retaining its heat only to release said heat when entering earths atmosphere?

She believes what she says. She feels smart! No animals hurt. Please let her stay happy! 😆

I have one - “why haven’t we launched this person directly into the sun?”

In sunlight space is incredibly hot. In shade it is incredibly cold.

These folks need to read an earth science book. 🙄

White folks think the solar system is the sun earth and moon lol does she not realize how massive space is.... does she not realize there is parts of space we haven't and will never discover in our lifetime lol wat a idiot she think da sun gonna heat up everything.

Ffs... While there is nothing wrong with asking questions and challenging science we locked down a long time ago... Go on the fucking INTERNET and try figure it out instead of publicly showing just how fucking dense you are. Then again, maybe she's actually smart & rage baiting to go viral. In either case, it's a sad look tbh.

I always wonder what the life experience is of people like this who have no base knowledge of how things work. Must be like living in a magical land where theres another amazing mystery just around rhe corner. "Is thunder clouds running into each other?"
