Whites have a higher white to red muscle fiber ratio. White muscle better for endurance red better for sprinters. It would be interesting to test the Kenyan long distance runners for that ratio. I believe their high altitude mountain training helps them oxygenate better.

Bol is an OUTSTANDING runner. Too bad for her that she lives in the same time as Syd!

She made a move exactly when you need to in that 400. The curve determines a great deal and then it's about finishing the stretch. Some people fall too far behind and expend too much energy on the curve. Nothing left for the stretch.
