A case can be made that killing people in international waters because you suspect that if there are drugs in their boat that the are going to eventually take them to the US and there is not way to intercept them, is a crime and therefore illegal.

And yet... there have been very questionable orders that may be considered illegal. And Trump may yet more clearly cross the line.

Congress is not in the military’s chain-of-command - PERIOD. Here is the law they each broke:

Service members are instructed to question it, seek clarification, elevate it through the chain of command, and document the refusal. That process exists precisely to protect the Constitution and prevent abuse. So no, she did not encourage disobedience to the president. She encouraged obedience to the law. If that makes you uncomfortable, the problem is not her words, the problem is your misunderstanding of how a constitutional military functions. You cannot turn someone stating the law into sedition just because it does not fit your narrative. Why would she identify any illegal orders when she never claimed there were any? Again you missed the point.

These people are cowards. It seems like they are trying to back pedal. They know exactly what they were referring to, they should own it. As a veteran, I feel like this kind of behavior should be off limits to politicians. Biden did a lot of stuff, regarding the military, that Republicans disagreed with. I didn’t see a single Republican, let alone a Republican politician, calling for the military to disobey Biden’s orders. I’m completely convinced Democrats would burn this country to the ground if it meant scoring political points against President Trump.

If DOJ charges 18 U.S. Code § 2387, the fact that they won't identify an illegal order, or try to walk back their statement in any way, highlights their intent was only "to interfere with, impair, or influence the loyalty, morale, or discipline of the military or naval forces of the United States" and attack @realDonaldTrump. I'm certain @TheJusticeDept could get a Grand Jury indictment on the whole crew, what do you think @AGPamBondi? If you don't charge them, you are making a mistake. You only have three years to drain the swamp. Don't waste it.
