I met with President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦. I informed President Ramaphosa about Russia’s intensified drone strikes against civilian targets and shared an update on the frontline situation. I emphasized that, unlike Russia, Ukraine is ready for a meeting at the leaders’ level without any preconditions. I am grateful to President Ramaphosa for South Africa’s readiness to host such a meeting and for his country’s engagement in the peace process.
