Dolores Claiborne one of Stephen Kings masterpieces! The book is written in that New England accent so you read it in that accent lol but omg the movie is SO WELL MADE but I always always love the books best. Kathy bates is a genius actress. One of my favorites of all time

That is honestly SO hard. I’ve read the book 4 times but I’ve seen the movie too many times to count. Just watched it the other day after this post 🤣 So with those odds I guess the movie? I think I’m gunna re read the book again when I’m done with IT and Needful Things though.

Great movie, and an even better📕- but there’s no Bella or Karl in either. Their names are Dolores Claiborne & Joe St. George. And that POS Joe should’ve stayed in the bottom of that well for all eternity, the “man” was a violent/disgusting pig- and a condonable case of murder.
One of my all time favorite films. It’s deeply disturbing yet healing in many ways. Highly recommend. Many memorable quotes!!
