AS AN AUTISTIC THIS IS SO TRUE LMAOOOO My dad telling me my daughter might not be autistic it might just be “her personality”. Also my dad: - owned a pint glass collection - doesn’t understand when he takes jokes too far - never discusses any kind of emotions - behaves socially inappropriately constantly Sure dad, it’s just your personality! 😌

I remember someone saying "why if there isn't many women diagnosed as autistic is because their special interest is crochet, knitting or other "feminine" things? And also, it's normal for women to be tidy."

One grandma is constantly renovating her house trying to make it perfect since the day she bought it and the other only drank Pepsi. God have mercy if a restaurant didn’t have Pepsi! Rip grandma but Pepsi only used to drive me nuts and to this day I can’t drink it!

Man I got diagnosed autistic last year at 35. And I gotta say the timing was TERRIBLE when considering it was trending on TikTok! But in all fairness I feel relieved to know it’s changed my life 💯 for the better

Very clever analysis.

Yep my grandmother was absolutely autistic and I'm pretty certain my father was. So I'm thinking I am. I was diagnosed with ADHD a year and a half ago. And several years ago I was diagnosed with OCD. Even today it can go undiagnosed.

Facts!! I am not autistic but ADHD, and they overlap a lot. Neurodivergence is nothing new, th world was just unaware of it before modern time.

Last night my 90 year old grandma rang my brother to come over because the bedsheets weren’t arranged exactly right…

Yep. Since our son was diagnosed a whole lot of things have fallen into place for others in the family.

Shoutout to the old dudes with an entire room of trains or an encyclopedic knowledge of a historical time period that FOR SURE weren't on the spectrum haha
