“It’s a matter of self-respect, not disrespect, to not carry the photo of KCR,” clarified Telangana Jagruthi President K Kavitha. She noted that while KCR is a magnanimous leader, he also heads the political party that suspended her. As she now embarks on a people’s journey to strengthen Telangana Jagruthi and connect directly with Telangana people, carrying KCR’s photo doesn’t align with her moral compass. Kavitha emphasized that she remains forever indebted to KCR, but their paths have now diverged.

“The Jubilee Hills election results would have been different if the opposition (BRS) had played its role effectively but it did not. Telangana Jagruthi has identified this vacuum and will become the people’s voice,” said Kavitha while addressing the press in Medak. Kavitha, in Medak as part of Jagruthi Janam Baata Yatra, reaffirmed that standing up for people is more important than setting up a party or anything else.

It's been 4 years since Union Home Minister called the #Kaleshwaram project an “ATM” for the Kalvakuntla family. It's been 3 years since Prime Minister called the projects under the BRS “ATMs” for the Kalvakuntla family. Since then, neither the CBI nor the ED has initiated any inquiry into the corruption involving KTR and Harish Rao Thanneeru. The Telangana Government even asked the Centre in September 2025 to initiate an inquiry into the corruption in the Kaleshwaram project. The BJP - BRS nexus is shielding the "Kalvakuntla Dongalu (KD)", with KTR and Harish Rao enjoying political immunity from the Kalvakuntla family’s corruption.

#WATCH | Hyderabad | BRS MLC and founder of Telangana Jagruthi K Kavitha says, "The Congress government gave six guarantees during the Telangana assembly elections. The people of Telangana believed Sonia Gandhi because she had signed the guarantee card. They said that the pension of Rs 2000 will be increased to Rs 4000, the 4000 pension will be increased to 6000 and every woman in Telangana will be given Rs 2500. Even after 18 months of the Congress government, this promise has not been fulfilled. So we are sending thousands and thousands of letters to Sonia Gandhi and requesting her to please order CM Revnath Reddy to implement it."
