That woman helping the other lady is a blessing, she didn't have to help her cross the line and even if it is a race to win I am glad there is humanity and compassion for those who are struggling.

Younger runner was not in the same race (she was part of a high school exhibition relay team). She didn't know what the etiquette was. You can't help other runners in an individual race. She deprived the 2nd place runner a chance to catch up and win.

Bad as it sounds, but I find no inspiration in something like this. People win races. People lose races. What's the point of working so hard to compete then toss all of it aside?
