Once again, Republicans can say all they want that it was Democrats who founded the confederacy but it’s not Democrats that carry the confederate flag and it sure as hell is not Democrats who say statues of confederates are their heritage. I will not allow the GOP to cherry pick.

There’s a huge detail being left out. Dems during the emancipation proclamation had the very same ideology as republicans of today. The republicans at that time had the same ideology as democrats have today; swapped along the way. I believe ppl often purposely leave that out.
