Once Woody showed the little heart charm he knew it was over

I love how the daycare to people is probably just an average daycare but to the toys it’s North Korea.

I still find it cool they have a worn out realistic baby toy as part of the crew. Their realistic mistreated look contrasts so much with the rest of the crew it's heartbreaking and feels like a nice spin of what toys you can find.

Honestly it was satisfying seeing Woody angrily stand up to Lotso and found the right button to make him finally lose his temper to expose himself. Honestly this is one of Woody’s most honourable moments. Lotso acts like he knows Woody to get under his skin, but Woody actually got to know him which got under Lotso’s skin. That’s pure karma.

Now if we can just do this to modern "writers" who self-insert in our media that'd be great.

It really is sad and ironic that Latso being replaced meant he was arguably loved MORE than Daisy’s other toys. She loved him so much, her parents had to console her with a new one. (It’s not her fault she didn’t know every toy was alive and had a unique soul)

I’m glad Lotso got to live in his own hell for now on after he treated toys as nothing but trash and treated a daycare as a prison for toys.

The prototype watches Toy Story like a documentary

Woody and Lotso are great foils here. Woody has to believe Andy still loves them. But Lotso has a point, if kids can outgrow, replace or discard their toys, was that love ever real? Deep down, Woody still fears that maybe Lotso could be right.

You don't see enough love for Big Baby. He's very important to why Lotso's backstroy is so impactful. I cry more for the moment Big Baby says Mama than I do when the toys are accepting defeat

The fact that his goons didn't suffer the same fate as him is definitely one of the worst parts of this movie. Baby can get a pass since he's obviously slow. But the ugly ass octopus, robots and bee thing can all go to hell.

I just noticed the henchmen's reactions to realizing that Lots-O is in the wrong and the way he's treating Big Baby.

Never realized how similar they where. They both get picked up and thrown the same way

Syndrome has more charisma and memorable quotes, but I have to lock in Lotso as my favorite Pixar villain. It feels so rare and unsettling to see a character in a children's movie chant such a hopeless nihilistic worldview. "Where's your kid now, Sheriff?" is a hard line too.

The minor side characters in this movie are so well-designed, especially the octopus and the robot guy The way the octopus moves so fluidly and his hesitation creeps in to listen to Lotso as he goes off the handle The way the robot clicks when he moves even slightly, it’s great

😭this movie by far is my favorite Toy Story movie, it was so dark and different from the first two I couldn’t belive the plot twist on how lotso turned that poor daycare into a prison for toys shit was crazy!

And the rest of the Sunnyside toys have discovered Lotso’s true colors. Lotso has got to be my favorite Toy Story villain in the entire franchise.👍

I love that if you pay attention (especially in the background) you can see Loto's crew slowly start to realize that their leader is genuinely awful and wouldn't hesitate to throw them out.

Tom Hanks really pulled out his gutteral voice for those sets of lines, and it's fucking amazing. I remember that impacting me harder than anything when I saw this in theaters as a kid.
