@SkiiMaskJordan this is why hip hop is in the state that its in because the music industry forgot the most important thing, Talent is everything. They want artists that look and act a certain way that's why we got all these clones and talentless hacks with short career shelf dates.

@SkiiMaskJordan When u playing the "rap game" talent doesn't matter. But when u don't play games and represent "Hip Hop" you need talent. Niggas who curate Hip Hop are selling $200 vinyls and merch while niggas playing The Rap Game hoping for 1million views for a $1500 check.

@SkiiMaskJordan if there’s anyone who knows what they’re talking about, it’s wendy day lol

@SkiiMaskJordan Yes this is what we’ve been saying

@SkiiMaskJordan Talent is everywhere. Being marketable isn't

U preachin

@SkiiMaskJordan She's spitting facts. She's not saying that talent is irrelevant but hard work is always going to outdo talent. You can have the next Kendrick but if he's lazy he's gonna get outdone by the weaker rapper that works harder. That weaker rapper will also improve with time btw.

@SkiiMaskJordan Yes it’s true, it’s about engagement, the story , and whether people like you.. especially in the music industry. It’s about the numbers.. the analytics

@SkiiMaskJordan I guess it depends on what you define as talent, it's definitely about more than just musical talent, but the ability to market yourself and network makes you talented in a way that is just as valuable if not more so

@SkiiMaskJordan People in Nashville say weird stuff to me like " IT'S NOT WHO YA KNOW ITS WHO YA BLOW " And that explains why I'm a NOBODY
