Several seconds, on the ground, the officer attempted to handcuff her, unsuccessfully. 3. She grabbed at his vest & around his neck. 4. Then the punches started. •Punches 1-4 were reasonable. •Punches 5-6 were questionable. •Punches 7-10 were arguably not “necessary” & likely a violation of policy. 5. She actively resisted throughout. 6. She was not handcuffed until after both officers struggled with her. *The outcome should be⬇️ A few days off, retraining on use of force, and the cop should be back to work…only Cherrie should be facing charges✔️
