I haven’t watched this show, but every clip I’ve seen of it. It seems like this mother is so toxic. It seems like she tries to sabotage the relationship between the grandparents and the granddaughter. Everything needs to be about her and what she wants to do. It’s almost like she was maybe a teen mom felt she missed out on a bunch of stuff and now she’s holding her daughter back in someway and wants her daughter to struggle the way that she had to struggle.

All that talk about the grandfather manipulating the daughter. When reality that's all the mother is being manipulative to her daughter. Just one long sob story, poor me my rich parents wah, wah, wah.

It's so funny, I'm a massive Buffy fan, and so many people who are die-hard Buffy fans also seem to love this show and I have just never been able to get into it.. the mom just seems like such an awful character

Harvard wouldn’t let them film on campus. So the whole series arc of her going to Harvard got screwed up. And they switched it to Yale. Really annoying because they totally tried to sell us on her going to Harvard
