The ones who wait are either larger/older sibling groups, older kids (like teens), kids with behavioral or health issues. Not newborns. Not even kids 5 and under.

Almost all newborns given up for adoption are placed in homes. The foster care system is mostly children removed from families due to neglect, abuse or other reasons that generally require special care.

So wrong- putting a child up for adoption is NOT THE SAME AS FOSTER CARE.

Yes. Infants are a hot commodity in the foster care system. The problem is that if you add infants to the system, you are removing foster parents for older kids. So yeah that baby gets a home, but now you have a 10 year old boy with no structure in a group home.

The majority of women who give birth unplanned would rather raise their own kids than give them up for adoption. Newborn adoption has a long waitlist because there understandably just aren't enough women willing to give up their own kids at birth.

Why can’t ppl just use protection or don’t have sex at all
